I had a dream that there was an additional part of the interview and Lauren said “every morning you wake up, immediately write/talk to God for 2.5 minutes as if He could respond, no matter how you feel” and it felt so real. And even though it wasn’t really in the interview , I inspire myself and anyone who takes the time to fully read this, do the same.💕

As women, mothers, we sometimes really neglect ourselves trying to just maintain and stay afloat, we forget about ourselves. My mom transitioned suddenly a few years ago. Not having access to her physically completed changed my soul and spirit for the best. As a person who’s going through the early years of grief, I resonate with everything that Lauren spoke about. I’ve come to a point in life where I’m being intentional about my season of isolation. I do the same thing, I journal. That’s the way I’m able to be completely honest with God about how I truly feel & also not react out of my emotions when I’m triggered by someone. Writing it down has really helped me & is my therapy.
This was beautiful. Her grief and healing journey sound similar to my own. Losing my 2nd brother made me lose sight of life. But I’m healing and learning how to live again. I still pray for her and her children. We are not on this journey alone.

Love this interview and appreciate Lauren sharing how she is dealing with grief. I lost my mom, dad, and last grandparent in a five month span almost four years ago. It was one of the hardest things I have ever gone through. Still dealing with grief and healing but becoming more at peace. Definitely learned some grieving tips from the interview.

After losing my husband unexpectedly in 2016, it has taken me on a journey of self love, healing. It exposed my childhood issues and I have worked to fix those. I am now creating a Fitness brand that deals with nutrition, the benefits of working out and how it does help to heal grief and depression. The trauma is always there, but do fitness and lifestyle changes. It makes a difference.
I started working out about 4 months before my best friend passed. And then my other best friend passed 5 months after that. Prayer and fitness does help me. I went to the gym the next day and cried all the way through
I feel like my prayers are really simple. And sometimes think I need to have a more formal prayer. But I am glad I am in constant communication with God

Love this interview and appreciate Lauren sharing how she is dealing with grief. I lost my mom, dad, and last grandparent in a five month span almost four years ago. It was one of the hardest things I have ever gone through. Still dealing with grief and healing but becoming more at peace. Definitely learned some grieving tips from the interview.
Same. I lost my mom, last living grandmother, my uncle and cousin in 2020. My dad passed in 1999. Definitely the hardest time in my life

Oooh 😮💨I’m so glad she spoke on taking a BEAT after finishing ANYTHING. Celebrities are legit compared to one another based on their “next” and it’s so unfair…stillness is necessary.
After losing my husband unexpectedly in 2016, it has taken me on a journey of self love, healing. It exposed my childhood issues and I have worked to fix those. I am now creating a Fitness brand that deals with nutrition, the benefits of working out and how it does help to heal grief and depression. The trauma is always there, but do fitness and lifestyle changes. It makes a difference.
I started working out about 4 months before my best friend passed. And then my other best friend passed 5 months after that. Prayer and fitness does help me. I went to the gym the next day and cried all the way through
This was a wonderful and transparent interview. Very needed to dive deep into ourselves and hear God for ourselves in every moment.
