  • My recent trip to Africa took me to Lusaka, Zambia, where I had the chance to sit down for a few minutes with Voddie Baucham. We talked about his move to Africa, what he loves about Zambia, what he misses about America, and who would triumph if he and his pal James White ever got into a fight...

That Paul Washer and Voddie are friends makes sense. Both are very similar in style, men of deep convictional preaching.

I gree with what Mr Bauchaman saying moving is not easy but if your to gather with your family it's just another adventure. I go through these experiences every 3 years with my family and we have learnt not complain but take it like a gift from GOD.

You guys should come to uganda too...so many false preachers, many false prophets are cropping up, and many are being deceived.
Thanks guys for the good work, you are doing for the Lord Jesus Christ.

Voddie is truly a blessing to the Body of Jesus. I have learned SO many lessons from him since I first met him around 2004 in Atlanta at an American Vision conference.

Good, this is better. I feel I know a bit more about Voddie's situation and can pray meaningfully for him and his family. Glad he is getting better, and glad he is settling in to 'African time' and enjoying it. To place his health problems in context why is Zambia not a place to go on dialysis? (I know but others may not.) Still would like to hear more about the Church and/or the work of the University

When asked what he doesnt miss about the US you could tell he doesnt miss A LOOOOOT OF THINGS, but decided to just say "i dont miss the pace of things". Very wise man cause I wouldve just started talking. When dealing with the US its best not to say much.

I love how these formidable preachers are connected to each other. Brothers in Christ. Vodie knowing Paul Washer and I just watched Tim Conway's testimony and he recalls reading a John MacArthur book.

I had CKD as a child and a transplant at 7. I was placed on dialysis at 19 and just had my second kidney transplant last year, January 2017.
Kidney function can be maintained through proper diet and exercise. If VB is responsive to medication and is following a good diet and fitness plan he may never need dialysis or a transplant.

He would NEVER say anything like that. It goes against what he believes. You will never be able to find the article or video of him saying such a thing because it does not exist
