Hi Noël! The color of the bowl is gorgeous. I agree, that is a sleek cake stand. Pretty! To use it for a pillar candle, maybe some small fairy lights in the greenery and pinecones too! Yes nice curation!

The cake stand is so cool! The warm grey color definitely made me think of mushrooms when you first pulled it out. I like that it's not the usual bright white you get with ceramic white stands. The neutral color will flatter almost all colors of cakes and pastries while keeping the look soft. One of my favorite Norlii items of all time for sure.

As you suggested, the cake stand is good for so much more than cakes. I would also use it as a simple pedestal for decor, plants or candles.

I find bowls of all sizes so useful! Condiments, put under a small succulent, float a single blossom that falls off the bouquet- even small ones like that beautiful lilac one come in so handy!! Put the rocks and crystals from Birdmoss in it!!! Fancy porcini or smoked salts, or simply sent it to me! So many uses 😜 😂
