- An elderly mother came from the village to visit her son in town, but he was not at home and her daughter-in-law mistook her for a new maid. She did not tell the truth about herself, and soon learned that her son was missing at all.

"No, not today! I have a contract signing tomorrow. You know how much I fought for this deal," said the short, red-haired, middle-aged man into his golden iPhone.
Roy Kinnear was the founder and owner of the city's largest transportation company. He had fleets of trucks all over the region. To expand and increase earnings, he tirelessly explored opportunities and made deals.
However, the competing firms were also active, and sometimes he had to fight for large orders. Despite the challenges, he managed everything and personally knew every employee.
Roy was known as a man of the people, a self-made person who went into debt to buy his first truck and started working in transportation.
He escaped poverty at the young age of 19, working three jobs to have a place to live and enough to eat. He obtained his driver's license while serving in the arm. Like many others, he had a passion for big cars and trucks and the open road.
Before leaving for the city, Roy had a major argument with his mother. She was the only family he had, being a late child and her beloved son. She had been overly protective of him, while he longed for freedom and independence.
To make him stay, Elinor resorted to deceit, pretending to be sick and claiming to have a weak heart. She begged him not to leave her alone. Roy turned down a lucrative job offer and spent a month taking care of his mother until the truth was revealed. Secrets have a way of coming out.
"Yes, your mom is as healthy as an ox, and her heart is as strong as a young girl's! I was amazed myself!" said the family doctor.
And then Elinor had no choice but to admit to lying, and because of this, a scandal broke out.
"You don't understand what it's like for a mother to wait for her only son to return from the army!I have been yearning for a year without you, my little Roy. And on the fifth day after your return, you're already planning to leave for the city?!"
"Yes, I am going to earn money, to fix the roof, to buy you a coat! Mom, your salary barely covers your basic needs. We've lived in poverty all our lives. Don't you want a better life?"
Roy was already motivated and had goals. He dreamed of becoming wealthy.
"I just want us to be a family. I'm all alone! Your granny passed away a year ago. You left for the army and she was gone. You finally came back, and now you're leaving again. How long do I have to wait? Couldn't you stay home for a couple of weeks?"
"You know, opportunities like the one I had don't come every day. And I missed it because of your lies, Mom!"
The argument escalated. Roy left the next day. He would call his mother, but he kept the silence. He was afraid that she would try to lure him back to the village.
Above all, Roy feared ending up like his classmates, who stayed in the countryside. They married the most fashionable girls in the village and settled for a simple life.
Roy didn't want that fate. He dreamed of breaking free, of being the person who drove into the village in a big brand-new red car, causing admiration and envy among those who knew him.
And his dreams came true. For the first two years, he worked just to survive. He took out a loan to buy a truck, fulfilled orders, drove himself, and literally lived in the truck. He regularly called his mom, but he didn't visit often, only a couple of times a year, even for just a day.
Later, when Roy rented a better apartment in the city, his mother also came to visit. This happened in the third year, when he managed to secure really well-paid transportation orders.
And the story continued. He paid off one loan and immediately took out another for a larger amount. He worked day and night to avoid going bankrupt. He understood 9 out of 10 newly opened firms go under in the first year. When he registered his business, he thought to himself, "I need to hold on for at least a year!"
Happily Ever After! What a great, great story. I knew they would have another child! Amanda got her Karma! Narrator, you are amazing’. 👍👍
Best channel EVER...best narrator EVER...I have never heard another narrator who can hold a candle to you😊
Guys,I must confess that I'm in love with this channel.
And the our storyteller's accent ❤👍👏💪
Poor Elinor😢 what did she do to deserve such a spoiled brat daughter-in-law??? Amanda, you are such a disappointment 🤮
Roy, when are you coming back? Oh thank God Roy didn't die 😂
Awesome story..Amanda was full of herself..got what she deserved...Marisol deserved a happy ending..Roy's mum is a strong woman..lovely story..well done author and narrator..looking forward to more😂❤
Wherever the narrator is from, she has a beautiful voice and lovely accent and her stories are short and to the point. I've listened to other stories and for the most they're to long and boring and leaves you in a cliff hanger.
A very beautiful story! I love to hear the narrator’s voice, lovely and soothing to hear ! Thank you soo much ❤
Love the beautiful bird and the story. ❤️ ❤️
Thank u once again for a beautiful narrated story.
Lovely story, I agree about Roy's beating on the train being suspect
Fab story ur story's or so beautiful
I enjoyed this story.
Shows that you never a rich self centered girl. She will commit adultery without a second thought!
Glad his mother came at just the right moment, God's hand was with her.
Lovely story beautiful ending story teller amazing 😊
A WONDERFULLY AMAZING STORY WITH A GREAT TWIST. THE MORAL IS NEVER BE ARROGANT ABOUT YOUR POSITION or POSSESSions.DESTiny is strange & SURPRISING. SO ALWAYS Be humble. FOR THE BIBLE SAYS"DO NOT WALK HAUGHTILY IN THY [ GODS] LAND FOR HE dOES nOT LIKE ARROGANT BRAAGARDS.
THANKS A LOT FOR THE MASTERPIECE OF A STORY.AS USUAL THE NARRATOR WAS MAGNIFICIENTLY MARVELLOUS. THANKS.
What a story! Wow!
Drama! Suspense! Romance!
My take: bad comunication between mother and son at the beginning. Likewise Marisol wirh Roy love and jealousy. Life has to be balanced: too much work and no play makes Roy a dull man😂. After listening ATTENTIVELY, dramatized word by word, I trully love the ending. After Jesus' love, there is no other love as a mother's love. Desperate to find out what becomes of her son. All ended well with reunion, old flame, and making a fresh start.
Well for Amanda sorry to say she got what she deserved.
Thank you Madame Author you have done it again. 🎉❤🎉

Just as I've come to expect, another excellent and very heartwarming story. This channel is on its A game with the stories it presents and the narration is always so beautifully done.
😅😅❤❤
Beautiful story. Amanda wasn't good enough for Roy. Marisol was more to my liking. Wonderful ending. Thank you.
I agree.
I love all your beautiful stories..I love your soothing voice⚘️
Wonderful story as if it really occurred. Important lessons. Communication is the most important. The Bible stresses this. If you have a problem, go to the other and talk. If other rejects, have a mutual friend help to resolve issue. If that doesn't help, Turn away forever! Mother and didn't talk it out but he still loved her. Both relationships ended badly because of not talking the problem out and leading to bad decisions. When everyone started learning the truth and understanding it ended with doing the right thing. All had their future fulfilled.
Don't blame Roy for not giving Amanda a job. She could or would cause trouble. He wasn't mean and said he'd contract a friend about an au pair job for her.
Marrying someone from the village is not a negative choice, but it's essential to progress in life.
So many lessons from this video.
First; don’t let past grudges of family members restrict you from being family.
Second; don’t judge/assume things without knowing what the truth is (Marisol and Roy assuming the others were dating someone else).
Third; the ones who truly love you will go to the ends of the world to seek you and find help along the way.
And fourth; Amanda got the justice she deserved for being narcissistic, greedy, and selfish. Though I can’t help but wonder what the true story was behind the beating on the train.
QQqqqqqqqqqqqqqqqqqqqqqq
Amanda probably arranged it
This is similar to the movie I watched with Thelma Ritter is was such a classic b/w movie in which her son turned into a snob and learned a val😅lesson near the end of the movie .
I wish my husband was like Roy
❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤
Well, there's that. Or you could use a proof reader who has a command of the English language and a speaker with the same capabilities. The stories deserve that much respect. Don't you think?
It's not bad to marry someone from the village, but one has to advance in life
Who hit (not hot) Roy...
Who hot Roy and why?
The music is really annoying
Vvv😮
Best channel EVER...best narrator EVER...I have never heard another narrator who can hold a candle to you😊
