      Thank you! I wish Oxygen would use time stamps like that when they have such long videos.

      @@dustindauncey Glad it saved you some time. If they spend the time they save not doing the time stamp on Oxygen Builder, I'm ok with that ;-p

    This is 1000x better than the original explainer, thank you so much E! After doing a dozen or so Oxy builds, you just cleared up everything and plugged the gaps from the old video that I wish I had at the beginning. Throwing in a bunch of extra tips that will save everyone a ton of time trying to get things ramped up quickly (like wp-query types vs. default in easy blog) was great too. Seriously, this is something we all needed. This base group of templates really should just be one of a few default template-based design sets so we'd just need to customize/tweak the 3-5 variables that change to this template set, an e-commerce/woo template design set and maybe one other. This was a 30min walk thru, so imagine how long it takes everyone the first few times to just create each of these manually, then for every site going forward. It could just be an import or bable to be saved as a local json or xml file that gets reused w/ each new site.

    23:00 This tip is huge. I hate lock-ins. Stopped using divi a long time ago because of this issue.

    Understandable, step by step, with important points, specific and clear explanation! Thank you, Elijah, you are the best! And the developers of Oxygen Builder are generally geniuses. Thanks for your work!

    If you're not seeing the 404 Template when testing after creating it, change the Template Priority to 1 and then it should work.

    But one more thing need to modify in header footer template. If inner content less than screen height footer go up. It would be nice add something bottom screen alignment for footer. And do not worry that the client will write something small, like in the example 404

    • @stratos-tutorials
      @stratos-tutorials 3 ปีที่แล้ว +5

      The minimum height set to ~80vh for the inner content will do that trick

    Great content! However, how do you create a template that renders a bespoke header and footer only on a specific Page? Not a specific post, but, let's say, just one page.

    Although I have Inner Content on my Main template, it isn't available in the dropdown when I'm building the All Archives template.

    Can you create a 2 column gallery that moves horizontally instead of vertically and use it as a slider. As 4 image block fits really nicely on mobile screen size. Regards Peter

    • @stratos-tutorials
      @stratos-tutorials 3 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      Google adsense will put the header and footer ads automatically (for the mobile) once the script is inserted. After that when you create your single or archive templates you can choose where to put the code

    When I copy a template it doesn't seem to copy verbatim. The header background color is missing. Images are missing from header (like logo). Why would that be?

    Question: how would you go about making that section the 404 template stretch to the rest of the page height? So that the footer is laying on the bottom?

    • @aravindamondal2907

    But how to make this responsive the best way? ;)

    • @vigilantezack
      @vigilantezack 3 ปีที่แล้ว

      Oxygen elements are already responsive. But you can also use the responsive breakpoints to make changes for smaller screens. And further, you can edit the pixel values of the breakpoints in the global settings.
