Finally got to watch this after spending all day reinstalling Windows after the latest patch borked it, Nice review as always and Massive Congrats on hitting 100k subs, couldn't have happened to a nicer person, well deserved!
Looking forward to seeing a GX review. I think the base GX for 65k is the best bang for the buck imho. From the reviews I've seen, real world mpg is not that different between the V6 and Hybrid max truck based vehicles.
Yea it's crazy to say but in this market that new GX looks to be a pretty good value despite it costing significantly more than the previous gen. And yes I am curious to see the real world fuel economy of the GX because I certainly don't meet the numbers quoted for this Hybrid Max
Honestly, this one is starting to grow on me tbh, i actually like it. Just this 1958 trim is weirdly constructed. Hard touch plastics all over, manual seats, but premium features like a heated steering wheel, auto wipers, and heated front seats
Yea that's exactly how I feel my friend, I love the juxtaposition of this vehicle with high end features/driving qualities mixed with a total plastic interior lol It doesn't make sense just looking at it but I think if people experienced it they will appreciate this
@@MeynMotorGroup haha yeah i get it. it’s just a mix of premium features in a base trim. however, if i were to get one, it would be the First Edition. primarily for the sunroof and the better interior while still keeping the round headlights. but then that costs about $80k so right back to LC200 pricing 😭
@@MeynMotorGroup that's a tough one honestly. because although they are virtually the same vehicle with the GX having that V6, something about owning that heritage style body just seems so awesome.
@@notsodelusional some people like the cloth! I kind of prefer it in this vehicle but I do wish the driver seat was power. Yea it’s sorta pricey this Base model costs as much as a 5th Gen 4Runner TRD Pro don’t know if the resale value will match a TRD Pro but at least these can be had for a discount
@@MeynMotorGroupnot even the slightest better. Just a few updated gimmicks for pavement patrol with a smaller engine and Its smaller in the cabin too. 😂 Ill keep the 5th gen rugged runner.
I love toyota but Man the quality is so bad on this new model when i felt it. I had high hopes for this but this quality is a DOWNGRADE compared to my 5th gen runner. Oh and btw, theres WAY TOO MUCH positive content on this model they are hiding the bad stuff on this lately. I love toyotas but its tome to face reality that toyotas are not what they were and the bad quality has caught up to them. Even Ray Charles can see it.🙈
It's interesting how everyone who complaining in the comments never specify exactly what the issue is or what the "bad quality" is that they are referring to. They just make generic statements probably because a majority of them have never driven or tried this product. It's interesting how when this company finally got the refinement and driving dynamics right, everyone complains. 5th Gen 4Runner is feels like a dumpster compared to have this new Land Cruiser drives. Nothing wrong with calling a good driving car good and just complaining for the sake of complaining helps nothing.
@@MeynMotorGroup Here I’ll describe it, CHEAP REAR POP UP WINDOW, THIN PLASTIC all over, the vehicle sounds LOUD, the throttle jerks like a go kart, Paper thin mudflaps (which I drove the 1s edition and found hanging embarrassly after getting out. @@Anomize23 your 5th gen and my 5th gen aren’t exactly covered in Italian leather it’s just a cheap plastic box that costs $50k as well. I get it you’re just trying to defend your 5th gen purchase and are In denial that this LC drives better but I don’t put my self worth behind car purchases just be content with what you have. LC is better hands down literally luxury car refinement engine is absolutely QUITER than our loud V6s not sure what you’re on about there.
@@MeynMotorGroup That plastic you talking about is THICK though. @@Anomize23 I think you just happened to stumble upon a busted lemon Land Cruiser which I won’t deny does happen OFTEN with new cars especially Toyota & Lexus. A vehicle many people worship, the 2022 Lexus RX 350 had an unbelievably bad variance in quality. One genuinely felt like it could be a Rolls Royce rival and another brand new 2022 RX V6 felt worse than a RAV4. Nobody understand and no one has an explanation for it. All I can say is the LC I drove felt incredible can’t even compare to my 5th Gen. you probably just found bad example LC.

This is nice. I’m going to stick to my 1998 4Runner Limited, 2022 4Runner TRD Off Road with KDSS, and Land Cruiser 1995 triple locker

1958 or a 4R TRD Pro for similar cost??

It lacks the KDSS !
Replaced with sway bar disconnect. Simpler system that also is cheaper to fix or replace if there is a failure. KDSS costs thousands to repair or fix.
