Magnificent and well-crafted! This makes me wonder just how many other fascinating, Brazilian concept cars had been made . . . . Thanks for sharing this with us! 56th Like.
I tried to choose interesting concepts, but most of them are copies of American and European cars with weak engines. It is very difficult to find an interesting car.
Congratulations for the channel, always bringing rare and interesting models. In Brazil there was also a brand called Miura. The most beautiful models are the first (1977-1981) and the last, Miura Top Sport (1990-1992), which already had on-board electronics, computer and a voice synthesizer, very innovative features for the time. The engine was improved over time, with the addition of turbos. Some models were exported to the United States and received Dodge engines.
So a kind of more samba-esque De Lorean without being at the same time as fascinating as the baby Lambo, the stunningly modern looking 1974 Bravo, whose exterior even today looks very futuristic....
Hello Retro. Any idea what the Hofstetter cost? That would be interesting to know. It may have been slow, but it looks pretty cool for its time. Also wonder how many have survived. Thanks again Retro! 🙂
According to the Brazilian automotive magazine “quatro rodas”, a new one in 1990 cost 70 thousand dollars (as we lived in a time of hyperinflation it was common to give the price in dollars)
The price of a Hofstetter Turbo can vary significantly depending on its condition, rarity, and market demand. Since only around 18 units were produced, it's quite a rare find. Prices for such unique and rare cars can range from $50,000 to over $100,000 at auctions or private sales.
0:57 in 90/91 Brasil open his market to Foreign cars, thats why the production of the Hofstatter ended, bad timing. Almost every small handmade brazilian brand have the same destiny. If possible do a vídeo about Aurora 122 C, a similar case.
This would have been a hot car in the states if it would have been here in that era. America was producing garbage in those years! PS. Would love to have had one!

This looks more cyberpunk than a lot of recent cars.

This & Vector W8 I'll approve them as KITT 2.0
It has that "borrowed from too many other super cars" look. Nuff said.
You need to do a video on the Isdera Imperator
I second that!
I'll try to find time to make a video about him.

Estradas? Para onde vamos, não precisamos de estradas.

Thank you for your comment. If I have time I will make a video about this car.
Parece una cabina de ducha con ruedas, ale hasta otra👋

Wow, 0-60 in 9.3 using a Passat derived 1.8 IL4 turbo. Shame....

Pop up headlights is idiotic!
Exactly! - Glorified airbrakes!
I don't like it.
