I remember first watching the scene where the master dies in the doctors arms unaware of the 50 years of stories/battles and adventures that were attached to them as I was only 7-8 when it aired. Coming back now knowing a vast amount, this scene just hits harder

Everytime I watch a Matt Smith clip with that song, that specific song that plays when the doctor's got nothing left to lose and he's risking it all. I get goosebumps throughout my entire body.

My favorite show of all time! Thanks for the look back. Makes me want to start at the very beginning, with the first Doctor Who & binge the entire series to today's new amazing Doctor!

That's a problem with the RTDemake: Its always about saving the whole Universe. The Legitimate Series made saving the Universe a MASSIVE thing as it happened so rarely. To the RTDemake its Tuesday.

The next Doctor should be a woman again.
I'd hate for the Doctor never to be a woman again just because the writing was so bad and unpopular in the Chibbs run.
But I think for that to happen the next Doctor needs to be a woman again. Get a good showrunner (I'd imagine RTD will retire during or at the end of the Gatwa era, which I am so far quite enjoying). Maybe someone fresh and young who will write some of the best Gatwa episodes.
Though I do have a particular idea about casting: Jenna Coleman.
You read that right. Gatwa regenerates, looks into the mirror and suddenly asks, "Why this face!?"
And maybe do a season where the doctor reconnects with old companions, including meeting up with Clara and Me's time travelling diner.

i beleive it can be, they just should somehow retcon the timeless child or have it makes sense some how. Also the show should lean into more dark episodes like how dark the 10th and 12th doctor can be. It should go back to its mordern roots.

So klassische Familie nach Möglichkeit ohne wok und Co einfach wieder 😊 der alte gute Doktor mit vielfältiger Persönlichkeit .
Und ganz wichtig logisch wieder sein er musste sich nicht immer auf seine zeitmaschine verlassen können
Und torchwood muss auf jeden Fall ein sechsfachen Spiel spielen führ und Gegend Doktor
Plus die alten Ableger Serien müssen da auch vorkommen 🤔

Since when does money correlate to depth? Doctor Who has gone deep for longer than most of its fans have been alive, and money had little to do with it.
Besides, Disney is only funding the marketing outside the UK. The actual production budget for the show, spin-offs, and marketing within the UK, are still 100% funded by the BBC.
@@HOTD108_ you see now Disney can contribute more money they can provide better effects as I'm sure you would have seen if you watched Season 1. It can also mean they can freely expand knowing it has an international audience therefore growing a larger income to allow them to create and produce more

The new series of Doctor Who is dead, the Classic Series is supreme and is far more highly regarded...
I like the classic series a lot but I’m very excited to see where this new era goes, with a great actor and writer there is a lot of potential
the 60th and first 2 episodes of the new era were packed with woke nonsense but other than that the series was very good and written very well. very excited for season 2.

They have confirmed that they are reverting back to "seasons" like i just said. If your logic states that there can't be multiple instances of "season 1" then there also can't be multiple instances of "series 1", so please do explain that.

@@NatrollJMNope. It’s Season One, not Season 1. RTD specifically did that so that there would still be a way to distinguish 1963 and 2024 DW. It is not our problem if you cannot comprehend the difference.
The only sense in which there is more than one "Series 1" in the DWU is for separate programmes and audio ranges (DW, TW, TSJA, etc.). Each one is distinguishable by the actual name attached to it.

I love how the Channel keeps shoving 13's time down our throat as if we don't all know her time was shit.
