the blue GMC wagon said $15K,, fuel prices are killing these cars that get 8 to 10mpg on a good day. Them total restored late 1920,s masterpieces like that Pontiac are really really cheap,, Imagine doing all that work at todays prices 2024. Steve in Australia
As normal. Prices are inflated drastically because it's a big show. Sad thing is everything gets priced high because of the show. Weeks leading up and for weeks after. Ebay and market place gets flooded with the same high prices.wait until November, most of these vehicles show up for half these asking prices.
The 1970 buick GS stage 1 at $39,000 that needs full resto would be ok at $29000.. a full paintjob these days is $20,000 on a car that size and you can guarantee the engine and gearbox would need to be pulled and freshened up.. there is another $10,000 if its not in need of a bunch of parts.. i think at $39000 its cheaper to buy one finished
I really like your channel like watching your videos but I wonder how many of those cars they sold for that big money I just can't see them being worth that much
On unique classic cars when you go to their website or you get the video of the car and they don't really tell you the price so the next time you go by you ought to get the price cuz I'm always curious of what they charge
@@winfordtice1969 You don't want to know their prices. Anyone who buys from them must not care about being overcharged by thousands. Cars that are worth $10,000 are listed for $23,000. You're getting taken for a ride 🤑
The square body prices are ridiculous lately, the people at this show may be asking those prices but they arent getting those prices i guarantee you. Theyll have em forever at those prices.
I love true Car Corrals because they are regular people trying to sell their vehicles to regular people. As a side note: that company Unique Classic Cars is a complete rip off joint. They take cars into inventory on consignment so they don't own anything they sell and they mark up the selling price 3x the going rate. I can't stand when those places infiltrate car corrals trying to push their overpriced wares. My picks of the corral you ask?? 1979 Lincoln Mark V blue $6,500 - amazing car for a the price 1986 Chrysler Fifth Avenue $8,700 - Those cars are getting more and more rare and they were Chrysler's top of the line back in the day. 1968 Pontiac Bonneville Convertible $19,000 - overpriced but i would offer him $17,000 max. Not sure if the crazy drunken dudes were worse than the annoying kids screaming, "cold water for one dollar"! 🤣🤣🤣
@@DolloffAntiques THanks. you need to include the UNEDITTED version of those dudes in your Dolloff's greatest compliation video someday soon. I would watch it for sure! 🤣
Thanks for the thumbs up on our Lincoln Continental Mark V…it did not sell at the show…quite a few low ballers…it did sell the following week and is being shipped to California….the dealer will undoubtedly double or triple his $$$ on that car…she rides and drives as good as she looks
@@jenaton5767 Yeah i'm glad it sold. Your price of $6,500 was super fair. I love to haggle BUT when the price is really fair, just pay the seller his asking price. Hate to hear that a dealer bought it because they will do just as you said, triple the asking price when someone like me could of been able to afford it at $6,500.
Finally! Someone covers a swap meet and gives prices of items. Will be a watching them all. Thanks.
Yet another very well done video .
Thank you for posting these , you always do an excellent job
Great job
Great footage!
Enjoyed!!!! 🤜🤛
Always enjoy a knowledgeable commentator. Had to chuckle at the price on the Cad LaSalle and your reaction
Thanks for posting, I wanted to go but was nursing a concussion and couldn't walk. Nothing that interested me to buy I like the 30's trucks and cars.
I really like the way you do your videos no music and great knowledge of vintage cars Thumbs Up
@daveyheeren182 thanks for the positive feedback
I subscribed, I like your videos .

The prices are over the top. I don't think that they sell all that well.

What they are asking and what they will actually get are two worlds apart! Iola prices are usually like the Barrett Jackson of the swap meet world.

@@jimmiebrown5014 I saw at least 6 sold ones but not sure what the total at the end was
Do you guys come down to Daytona FL for the turkey rod run? The swap meet and car corral will below your mind.
@pork-Express we have been to the Spring swap meet but haven't been to the fall one. We have 6 kids so Thanksgiving is a tough time to get away
@@DolloffAntiquesload them up in the wagon.. lol
The spring one is good, it's a fraction of the fall one.
