Why would you buy a brand new vehicle and then do work to it without even running it? That just doesn't seem to make sense to me. You should just buy a used one and make all the modifications you want but again this is your video and your truck.
It's a great truck. I love mine. I've broken 2 wing mounts and currently have the RPM mount installed. Also beat the crap out of the front bumper and have the RPM mounted there too. RPM 81472 still fits the blx with a little modification, but you can get the EXB front bumper for almost the same $$, if you can find it. I'm really a terrible driver at this point. lol
For casual bashing, I'd say this RTR is a better bang for your buck. The EXB's upgrades are definitely nice for added reassurance, but they aren't required for what most people are doing with these vehicles in my opinion. 👍 Have fun with whichever you decide to go with! 😄
3.8" Pro-Line Racing Sling Shot tires on Raid wheels. They're discontinued, but the part number was PRO117910. I still use them on my Notorious and Kraton. 👍

I had the one in my Kraton burn out after a few months. It’s a good servo when it works, but I had this one sitting around from my Outcast and figured I’d use it right away. 👍
@@LVC_RC my servo keep moving with the steering mount out of no where and I change it to aluminum mount and it’s stills wobbles with servo so I barely get steering is it something else I have to change I’m new to the rc hobby and learning from different people need help with this issue
@@NeighberhoodRC It’s hard to say without seeing it unfortunately. If you’re running a plastic servo casing, it’s possible that the servo tabs are flexing. Otherwise, the stock servo saver in the ARRMA 6S lineup is on the softer side, so upgrading to something like an adjustable Hot Racing servo saver helps tighten up the steering.
If you’re in the U.S., I’d recommend the Notorious. There’s better aftermarket support for ARRMA trucks in the states. The Notorious is also slightly more durable from my experience. If you’re in Europe, I believe Team Corally has better parts support from what I’ve heard.

I have several doubts, if you can help me, it is the first time i get into electric rc cars. 1-did I do well to buy from this rating of batteries? 2-can you put both at the same time in this case? 3-can you tell me which improvements to buy that are worth looking for. 4- some model item to cool the engine if necessary. I'm excited for it to arrive and I want to prepare myself hehehehe thank you very much
@@manuelsumaker2845 As long as those batteries fit, they should work well. The ratings that you mentioned sound good. You can run 1 single 4s LiPo with the included jumper, 1 single 6s LiPo in the truck with the jumper, or 2 separate 2s or 3s LiPos without the jumper. Ha! i've bought these same cars recently and they didn't let me down. Of course Notorious is a class of its own, with great handling due to short wheel base and tires. I have light bashing untill now, with only a few wheelies, but someday i will go to a skate park (im a bit sorry to put it in such a field though). Also, the bodyshell of Notorious has impressed me.Its very robust!
It really depends on the condition of both vehicles. If you’re confident in it, the Notorious is a fun truck. If you enjoy stunts, you’ll love this platform. 👍

The two 3s batteries you’re running would be equivalent to a single 6s battery voltage, but you still only have 5200mAh. Running a parallel circuit would give you 10,000mAh. It all depends on how hard you run the truck. 5200mAh should usually get you more than 10 minutes of runtime, but if you run in cold weather, you can expect less.

I did not know they came out with v5 notroious, I wanted one but went kraton exb for more durability. Love then body of the notrious so cool.
They didn’t really draw much attention to it for some reason. The Kraton EXB was a great choice, that thing has some awesome upgrades on it! 👌

How fast can. It go with and without speed pinions?
On 6S LiPo it’ll go around 50mph with the stock gearing. Not sure about the speed pinion though.

What size shim did you use?
I think the included shims are 13x16x0.2mm.
Is it necessary to put the differential shims?
No, but it helps a lot of you are running on 6s. 👍
