My 9yr old son turned me onto you almost 2years ago Kevin and I've been jealous ever since! You could turn a turd(Arrma) into something special everytime! Awesome build!
What's fun and thrilling when I watch Kevin Talbot's channel? Right in the very first scene, the RC cars that are always introduced are excitedly tossed and received while thumping!! Haha Anyway, this is a TH-cam channel I like that you can enjoy watching.😁😁👍👍👍
I’m so glad you busted out the old notorious. Back a few years ago when you first got it those were some of the most enjoyable Rc videos I had ever watched
Awesome vid Kev however, I think everyone's waiting with baited breath until you get hold of the Traxxas XRT and gives it the Kev bash endurance test🤣👍
Kev, please use a vise when drilling stuff, the kind you mount on the edge of the work bench. I learned the hard way too. It's much easier and safer. Lol... 😎
For drilling the aluminum you would benefit greatly from a bench vise. My experience is high drill speed and very low pressure. It will help keep the bit from taking too big of a bit into the soft aluminum. Or aluminium, for y’all across the pond. Cheers from Texas.
I remember picking up a Notorious for the first time and being blown away with how heavy it was...should throw that thing on a scale now that it has the extra metal parts, shes an ankle breaker now for sure lol
I had a good laugh regarding the closing comments on comparing the Mx-07 to the Notorious. I assume Kev means “stock vs stock”, because the price tag of those upgrades on the Notorious almost DOUBLES its cost.
Hi hello Kevin Talbot ☺️ hope you are well and family too. Your videos you do are alsome and amazing mate 👍. Plus have a big happy Christmas and New year. Hopefully you will have some more new models to come in 2023. Fingers crossed 🤞🔀
After a month of binge watching your videos I finally pulled the trigger and bought my first rc car. Got the outcast 1/5th scale exb roller so I can build it myself. Got the mamba 1100kv and esc combo just waiting on the pinion 🤙
Looks like an awesome RC car I just can't stand the look of the shell . Don't like those power wagon type bodies. Would much prefer a company to release a good basher with a 90s Ford body or something equally as square haha . Awesome video as always 👍
Hey Kev… Pretty new Subscriber to the channel and loving your content. RC anything is my jam, but I can never afford to have it as a hobby, so you are filling that void for me at least. Just a heads-up that if you are drilling any metal, then ALWAYS use an oil so that the bit won't grab and snap like it kept doing with you. I am sure you have something around, so just use any of them that heat resilient and non-corrosive. To all the Friends, Family, and everyone at Team Talbot… Stay Safe!… Stay Well!… Stay Positive! Stewart
@@maynarddrivesfast804 … This is absolutely true, but I would not recommend on bigger or longer drilling applications, just in case someone reads this and decides to use it on a larger scaled application. The reason for this is that it does not do well under extreme heat, as it mostly evaporates from it. Not only this, but it is a highly flammable substance even when left as a residue, so it can easily combust depending on the circumstances. It will absolutely not do any harm on tiny applications like working on RC Toys like these, but just make sure to clean up extremely well afterwards if you wish to prevent any spills accidentally combusting. It would also be wise to never use it around any electricals, batteries, or any wiring, so have your parts away from all those if using WD-40. Thanks for the feedback and I really do hope others learn as that was my only intention here. Stay Safe!… Stay Well!… Stay Positive! Stewart.
@@SCKB yup battery for receiver lit up the wd and some fuel that went around edge. Went back to regular non rechargeable. Sucks but never had an issue. Rare but it happens. Was a cool fireball doing 55 into a curb 😂. Was like a movie clip when just driving and poof!!?
It seems like all the different brands are basically built about the same. U should start from scratch and use the best parts in your opinion from all the different brands and build the ultimate Frankenstein basher!
Still just wearing a T-shirt Kevin? I've got 4 layers on, including a fleece in our house. But if you can afford to have the heating on all day with cash no obstacle, then you're doing alright mate!
Your starting to pack on a little weight there kev, your not the skinny toothpick RC guy anymore buddy! 😆 just teasing ya a little buddy. Looking good bubba
Loctite should sponsor that video.

I really enjoy these videos where you upgrade your cars, and show us how, and then go Race or bashing👍👍
As always, I love your honesty 😊
Love my notorious! The most fun and for sure the best looking rc on the market! 🤙
Forever servo horns fine
Monster servo come out
Yep going to need a stronger servo horn 🤣🤣👍🔥

Setting the clutch on the drill low would help too. Stopping the chuck rather than snagging and breaking the bit.
That's a nice choice of music 🙂👍🏿
Kev your gonna LOVE the xrt
This is a very very expensive hobby! I'm just happy to watch

Lmao. Kev logic. Gotta keep weight down and not add the 1oz 3rd bearing in the knuckle. Proceeds to adds 10 lbs of metal parts. Hahaha. Love it 😅

Liberty bearing oil would probably work!
@@RUZTY1311 almost ANY kind of oil is better than using nothing. Even WD-40 can be used in a pinch as cutting oil.

15:21 That's why I pack a breaker bar and 17mm impact socket in my backpack when I take my Arrma out.
My favorite line is “What happened?” LoL love the bashing!
You should give the ultimate beating on the metal chassises on the newest arrma cars because they look stronger than they were before
Epic!! Great job kev
Leaves one tiny bearing out to save weight, continues to replace every single plastic bit with aluminium.
Unsprung wight sweetheart
Gotta make sure the servo saver gives way Kev
Maybe you left the aluminum shavings in the servo shaft splines from the first failed horn and the next doesn't fit correct because of that.
