Aprilia RS250 | Track Day | Mallory 2 Stroke Day

Enjoying a 2 stroke track day organised by Ben Langton of Moto Mafia 2T
Morning session still getting used to the bike and finding more speed every few laps
Bike is completely stock barring a scorpion exhaust
Tyres are bridgestone R11s
The camera doesn't show it due to the Gyro but it needs a suspension refresh! 23+ years old gets very bouncy at times!
Thanks for watching - I hope some of you enjoy the sound and watching of a old 2 stroke being thrashed as much as I did at the time riding it!

I was in a points battle, and about 15 minutes before grid time my 500 twin wouldn’t start.
I couldn’t afford to lose the points, so I ran over to another pit where the Aprilia was for sale, and snatched it up.
I’d never touched a 2 smoker before so I had zero idea what to do with it, but ran it back over to my pit, slapped some electrical tape “numbers” on it and gridded up!

Blimey,......that's quick, I was there on an old gamma 250, think I'll have to upgrade to the starship enterprise to stay with that.
