My last meet before my conference meet is this weekend. I've been working on blocks a lot. Wish my teammates and I luck. Hope to be jumping 7.30m and running 7.00 in the 60m
Basically, should an athlete or coach want to find out more about the timing system and perhaps consider purchasing one then I can offer advice and potentially obtain discounts on the system. Hope that helps
I am very interested in getting a Freelap system. I have to convince my Athletic Director and most likely will be approved but need to fundraise!!!! If you have discounts available, I would be interested. Thank you!!
@@Johnshepherdtrackcoach I join you training center but I am Indian boy and litel city and not my knowledge carteriea join sir you training center please please help me
That’s a good point, theories and ideas change... Carl Lewis likewise never had the best of starts, and Ben Johnson jumped out of the blocks (with some assistance...). There is sense in keeping air time to a minimum whilst optimising distance covered and frequency. Perhaps a topic for another video.
Your videos are very helpful. Do you think speed can be develop at any age ? Or you think it's depends on genetics ? If it depends than how much it help since I hate when someone say you are not born to be athlete ,you not have such genes .
Speed can be developed at any age. Okay some people are perhaps more predisposed to speed than others due to certain genes... however most of us are born withal relatively even split between fast and slow twitch muscle fibre for example, so much therefore depends on how you train... muscle fibre and nerve conductivity will improve with the relevant training. You should become aware of ‘how fast’ you are and can get over time. I realised that I was a better 200m runner than 100m runner but had good jump power hence being a long jumper when younger (7.89m and 21.8). Stick with the right training and you will get quicker

Maurice Greene did not have a low heel recovery during acceleration, yet managed so set the world indoor 60m record, which stood for almost 20 years!
