3 Shoe Half Marathon Lineup: Puma Velocity Nitro 3 Asics Novablast 4 - (alternating days to keep the foam fresh. Simple 60mi weeks with an off day. Non plated 10 week training) Asics Metaspeed Sky Paris - Race Day Speed Demon 😈
Both are great and good prized!. I think you don't need nothing more if you are just a non elite runner. I would choose Velocity just for puma grip, it's much better than Asics solution
There's no one shoe. I bought the V2s as a daily. Then invested in the Saucony Pro 3 for faster pace runs. I never wore the pro 3 as i felt like a catwalk queen on my local park run. Didn't feel natural on the foot and i felt more propelled in the V2s. For me the velocity range is special. They've got that mix of comfort/firmness just right, While always feeling incredibly comfortable. Can't recommend enough.
@@rmjames83 Nah, it is the ride of the foam, as the Velocity Nitro has Nitro Elite foam under the forefoot and for me as a forefoot/midfoot striker, this made a big difference. The shoe just feels a lot more lively overall.
Novablast 4 gets quite a lot of hate from novablast 3 lovers but I really can't fault it. It actually does get better the faster you run. Like a softer superblast. It's very comfortable as well and can just chuck it on and run no messing about with lace tension etc.
I've picked up the Novablast 4, Superblast and Mach 6 in the last few days. Got some great deals at nearly 50% off in Thailand from Supersports with discount codes. Also bought the Speed 3 from RevRunner at 30% off. Once I find out which I like best I'll sell the others on ebay when I'm next back in the UK.
@@st4331 beware heal outsole speed 3 from Revrunnr bought 2, both came off within 100 miles. Rev very good discounts. How get Mach 6 heavily discounted, I have only seen 10% off. Trying to get NB Rebel 4 discounted, no luck yet.
I'll be getting whatever is cheaper in about 6 months' time. Right now the V3 is £40-50 cheaper than the Nova4! Can't argue with that! Or I could look at the DN2/3! 🤔
El diseño de las Puma Velocity 3 es espectacular muy estilizada muy bonita ese color limon fosforescente negro y plateado espectacular Aca en el Puma Store de Lima Perú esta al 50% de 130 dolares a 65 dolares 😮
Has to be the Glideride 3 right? Handles a wide variety of runs well. Novablast 3 was just a bit mushy. Can't see Novablast 4 being that much different. Asics have made a big mistake not release the Glideride 4.
I wanted to get the Velocity 3 but found it a tad narrow in the front, it was better half a size up but it made the shoe a bit longer than I need to. Went with the Boston 12 in the end
I had taste the novablast 4 for 5 i return to asics cuz cousion it's too softer and i felt no more energy return but puma velocity nitro 3 its a reliable running shoe ,versatile for any kind of run good job puma
New to the channel had no clue running was as big as it is I’d just hit the ground and run. I’ve only used Reebok since I recovered from a compounded broken leg. Now they have worked amazingly well, but after finding that shoes are built with massive cushion I thought this would be a great time to step out of my comfort zone. With that said what would be a good shoe to give a try? Great video by the way!
@@not_oscar8588 Thank you! I normally wear zig tech and I can’t feel the ground, but I just ran in float rides and it was like I was on pillows. Which lead me to wondering I should try a max cushion shoe I will try the New Balance seeing the Nike invincible 4 are likely to release pretty soon.
@@corneliusjermainehightower7539 You don't need to wait for new shoes to come out. They're rarely hugely different. Better to find discounted bargains on shoes that are about to be replaced.
VN3 can turn out a bit thin for you. Definitely recommend to check Puma Magnify Nitro 2. I am also on the heavier side and can't love them more. Regular skinny runners enjoy it less because they can't get the most out of it. My feel is that PMN2 is just perfect for heavy runner. Neither too soft, neither too firm. Just perfect.
@@ds77777 That's a good call. I swap between the Mag & the NB More as my easy day/recovery shoe but the Magnify could easily be a daily for ppl around the 100kg mark.
Please, don´t compare Puma with asics. The velocity nitro is an ordinary shoe, it´s price is attractive, but asics is a first line brand . Try the evoride speed (not carbon plate) a nice daily multipurpose shoe.

Same, amazing value for money!

I did not like the Velocity 2, it was somewhat of a dull ride. I preferred the Deviate Nitro 2 as an allround daily trainer.
DN2 is the 🐐
100% agreed
Prob because it’s got a plate in it. These 2 don’t

Lot of great comparisons coming up, Novablast 4 v Speed 4 v Mach 6 v Rebel 4 v Velocity 3 etc. Which shoe will take the spoils?

The only thing i have noticed is the v3 is more narrow than the previous 2 versions which were already snug.
That's so disappointing.

I think the real comparison for Puma Velocity Nitro 3 is Asics Superblast. Same dual density midsole.
Isn't the super blast twice the cost
@@greigseavill629 Comparison in terms of quality and functions, not the cost.
When is the Saucony Speed 4 and Pro 4 review coming out? Been 2 weeks since the release already. Thankss

If your looking for something cushioned, you should try the Gel nimbus 25/26 , the new balance 1080v13 or the nike invincible

Yes to Nimbus or 1080.
Also consider the latest Mizuno Sky. Feels awesome! 😎
Why does your novablast look red but mine is bright pink. Its the same colorway.
For a heavier runner(106kg) would you recommend the VN3 or Puma Foreverrun?
If you don't need a stability shoe go with the Velocity. If you do, Foreverrun. Both fantastic.

Ok your so important opinion velocity nitro 3 ia better than 2?
Thw velocity one is so narrow ? 😨

Some runners report that Novablast 4 feels very ordinary in comparison with Novablast 3. Responsiveness and fun are gone for N4.
