Oh goodness! Those ridges look both scary and exciting. Terrific wind. I really liked the beautiful waterfalls and green ness on the last day. Beautiful country.
Hi Andrew, wow what a stunning country Iceland is. The weather looked wild, I bet you were glad together to those shelters. Thank you for sharing your adventure as always, all the best, Dave 😀🥾⛰
Great video. You were blessed with the weather and made a good decision to break it into 2 days so you could enjoy the downward leg on day two. Thanks for sharing
@@andrewanderson68 unfortunately, when I did the laugavegur and fimm two weeks ago the weather was dreadful. Really challenging with hail, rain, snow and thick fog, especially on the highest point of the fimm. Unable to pitch our tent at some of the huts we were forced to complete both treks in just 4 days. Too much really, especially at my age (58). But still fabulous.
Hi Andrew, was so nice to meet you today both Andrews..I hope you find nice spot to camp and enjoyed cinnamon buns..im gonna defo watch this one once im back home...good luck for final leg..Happy hiking Lucy
So nice to meet you Lucy. We are heading home now, been a great trip. Hope you enjoy the video and I'll be sure to watch yours when I'm back! Cheers -Andrew
awesome video ! i just booked the Laugavegur trail & fimmvörðuháls trail today . ( i found availability for next week , very last minute ) were you able to get any water at the Baldvinsskáli hut ? electricity to charge ? another video i watched the person was able to get water and charge (for a fee ) everywhere else i read says no water to power . what was your experience ? ( and if you also stayed in the huts along the Laugavegur trail were you able to charge anything at any of the huts ? let me know . thanks
Thanks for watching. There was no running water or electricity at the hut as far as I remember, but I didn't need any as I brought a power bank and enough water with me. I didn't stay in any of the other huts on the Laugavegur but as far as I know none have electricity. Enjoy!

They're a lot of fun!
Spectacular scenery but rather you than me!

Thanks for watching, Dave. Yes, the wind only got stronger during the night, would not want to have to set up camp in that. Cheers!

Thank you David. It was a good call... and I wasn't in a hurry anyway. Cheers!
