Centering and Grounding Somatic Meditation | Mindful Movement

- It can be challenging to remain connected to your truth and aligned with your values in times of stress. Because this is difficult, it is important to be centered and grounded. Today’s centering and grounding somatic meditation will help you do just that. Somatic simply means being in your body. So, I’ll guide you to become present with the space you are in and your body to come home to yourself and feel a sense of safety within yourself. You will heighten your awareness of your experience to find your center in the present moment.
This practice, repeated over time, can offer a safe place within your body, like coming home to yourself. And because of this, you may find that your actions align with your values, and you are more able to respond to situations rather than react.

I first did this meditation last year on my birthday, under a tree in my backyard. I felt my roots and the tree's roots connecting and the tree's wisdom pouring in and out of me. I laughed, I cried, I felt like I've lived many lives. Since then, I've done this practice at least 20 times. Each time a very profound intention presents itself to me. Each time I cry when you say "connecting to those who have come before you" and then "feel the love here and any other emotions present". I just wanted to express my gratitude to you, Sara, for the incredible healing work you do. This truly is one of the most powerful meditations I've experienced. 💜

This is a meditationexperience like no other I've practiced it was different in the way of aligning my body's point connection's a new practice for me also the visualisation between the eyebrow I feel a sense of calm thank u for this 💓
I tried doing it yesterday but it was at a public space and couldnt focus.. but today i woke up at 321am😅 and then tried to meditate like i always do on waking up but couldnt calm down until 440.. it was then i finally could..im thankful to you for uploading and i love you💜 it is such a powerful meditation thank you so much for this beautiful vivid powerful experience💜 cant wait to wake up tomorrow and experience it again

Thank you for this mediation. I practice with your videos everyday, this felt very different... unexpectedly brought me to tears which I've never experienced during a meditation before and I had quite a profound realisation. I guess I need to find the next centering video to explore this further.

Excellent meditation!
Shame that TH-cam is playing ads immediately as it ended coz it knocks you out of the sense of well being achieved. Noticed this with other mindfulness meditations that I use and it’s super annoying!
View youtube via browser not the app if you on a phone then add a ad blocker to the browser.
Drag the button to end of video, and THEN back… wonderful piece of advice to avoid the startling ads at end ❤
@@sammilaidlaw8847 FABULOUS!! Thank you sooo much! I have both PTSD and CPTSD, so the loud unexpected ads at the end of meditation videos causes an uncontrollable startle/panic reaction. Preventing that is beyond helpful! ❤
