Would much appreciate a part 2 with more materials gathering, locations, tips and tricks for base building. As in upgraded walls, stairs, roofs etc out of mushrooms, feathers, pinecone and so on!
Perfect little guide there nicely done also I didn't know about the extra buff you get when upgrading the red ant set either 😅 so thank you again for that one keep up the fantastic work
I just use the handy gnat and haul around pallets. Go find a good weed stem area (the path from the baseball to the paint cans has like 10 weeds), knock a bunch down, leave the area and go back to base to despawn the bugs, then head in with the gnat. No bugs will spawn, you can clean up at your leisure, and you can haul 49 planks or 46 stems between the gnat and the pallet, and it's really fast because it's straight line air travel with no combat interruptions. A good mushroom area is also right next to the patio. The patio has these nooks under it, and next to the nook the patio wolf spider spawns under, you can find a really thick patch of mushrooms. It's probably not the _best_ place to find mushrooms, what with the spider and being on the very edge of the playable area, but its good early game if you're willing to rush for mushroom bricks and the oven for your starter base. The best place for feather for roofs is the haze post haze, of course.
One of my few gripes with the game is the way base progression works, if I built a base fully out of stem/grass then eventually get ash etc. I feel like it's not even worth it since I already have my place built up
*This is legit the perfect timing mate i ended up upgrading all my gear and weapons to level 5 i also finished the haze/Ant hill/sandbox labs etc./pic nic table and now i am one step away from getting my oven to construct my mighty globs and this after accidentally ending up in the sandbox and surviving etc. So next is farming up resources and doing final upgrades before i enter the upper yard again hopefully without feeling like i will die at any second*
probably something crazy mate however i am playing on a budget rig as those are my faves and i am happy as hell at 70fps at medium settings 1080p/60fps=1440p and 30fps at 4k my advice get any Ryzen 5000/7000 Ryzen 5 cpu even the 4500 or i3 12100/13100 to i7 13700kf setup with 4000mhz DDR4/5600mhz DDR5 RTX 2070 to RTX 4080 or RX6600 to RX7800xtx this combo will jam Grounded like mad at any resolution.

I myself dont build many big bases but sometime in the future!
You can haul 40+ with the intern badge but you lose some walking speed I off set it with the aphid slippers and can carry 41 grass or stems

I know! i never even thought about the sleek path for red ant gear! most people go with the mite hat / pupa hat!
I don't even use them 😂 I normally go with ladybird armour 😅
I just started playing this game ,im glad I found this channel I've learned allot ..TY
Your very welcome!

You have gotten yourself a new subscriber! Awesome videos ❤
Glad you enjoy it!
Also Pupa hat gives 2 more haul capacity than red ant helmet
True! but you miss out on either rock harvest speed / grass speed!
Best YT for guide & tips & tricks on the game
Means alot man!

Moldy blaster!!!! 😂 for complete forest clearing.
It is a good strat but thats like "end, end" game!
using the pupa hat and workers comp you can carry up to 50 weed stems or grass planks
If you're good at speed running you skip a lot of tough areas by dying and respawning to the nearest field station
What are you yapping about
I dont die much haha! but thats a good one!
You can also use the sour battleaxe to harvest choppable things
Same with the mantis scythe, but this video is mainly for mid game not late game
❤

If you would like a hint for a place where you can find a BUNCH of upgrade rocks, check the fire anthill!
