ANSWER 1 :(a) Boiling of water is a physical change as if we boil that water in a container it will have the same mass as it had before boiling.
(b)Rusting of iron is chemical change as new substance is formed from iron (i.e. Iron oxide is formed).
    (c) Respiration is a chemical change as new substances are formed (i.e. energy, water, carbon-dioxide ) from
The breaking down of glucose from oxygen.
    (d) Cutting of wood is a physical change as no new substance is formed in the cutting of this wood but it is an
Exceptional case like breaking of glass which can cannot be reversed similarly this also cannot be reversed but
No new substance is formed which is more important therefore it is a physical change.
ANSWER 2 :Cooking of food is a chemical change as new substances are formed from the raw
Ingredients and it cannot be reversed, therefore it is a chemical change.
    ANSWER 3 :
(1)Physical changes are reversible such as boiling of water , melting of ice cubes whereas chemical changes are irreversible.such as cooking of food, digestion of food.
(2)New substances are formed in a chemical change such as when we cook food from raw ingredients we get some delicious food which is not as the ingredients whereas no new substances are formed in Physical changes such as cutting of wood.
    (3) Physical changes are usually temporary whereas chemical changes are permanent.

in making lemonade, can we get lemon juice and sugar back?? then why this is consider as physical change?

    • @amitavikram1135
      @amitavikram1135 26 วันที่ผ่านมา

Yes, the lemon juice and sugar can be recovered from lemonade, which is why making lemonade is considered a physical change:
      No new substances formed
When lemon juice and sugar are mixed with water, no new substances are created. The sugar and lemon juice simply dissolve in the water.
      Reversible
The powder and water can be separated again by evaporation, demonstrating that this is a reversible physical change.
No change in color, smell, or temperature
Mixing lemon juice and sugar does not change the mixture's color, smell, or temperature.
