Q1: a) Boiling of water - Physical change b) Rusting of iron - Chemical change c) Respiration - Chemical change d) Cutting of wood - Physical change Q2: Cooking of food is a chemical change. When food is cooked, chemical reactions occur, such as the Maillard reaction, which changes the composition and properties of the food, leading to the formation of new substances with different chemical compositions and properties. Q3: 1. Physical changes do not involve the formation of new substances, while chemical changes do. 2. Physical changes usually involve changes in state or appearance, while chemical changes involve changes in chemical composition. 3. Physical changes are usually reversible by physical means (such as melting, freezing, or dissolving), while chemical changes are often irreversible or require specific chemical reactions to reverse.
boiling of water and cutting of wood is physical change rusting of iron and respiration is chemical change Cooking of food is a chemical change as it involves the change in the composition of thefood. It’s a chemical change because when you add lemon/lemon juice to it, it tastes different and changes it into a new substance, a different substance from tea
@@ConquestDusk_ but the correct ans in my book is physical change.... That's why I am confused bro... Because when we add lemon only colour changes but tea remain tea... No new substance form.... Maybe this is the reason
11:38 Q1 a- physical change b- chemical change c- chemical change d- physical change Q2- It's a chemical change because the new substances that are formed cannot be made back to the raw food. Also their composition must have changed as the cells of the food are heated. Q3- Difference one- new substances are formed in chemical change but not in physical change Difference two- lot of energy is produced during chemical change but very less energy is produced during physical change. Difference three- chemical changes are irreversible/permanent but most physical changes are reversible (there are exceptions too).
@@muchado961 I know what physical and chemical changes are. I've graduated already and am in science field. Putting a lemon back together doesn't make it back. Of course it is physical change, since the material is same, no new components have been formed. But it's irreversible. That's what I mean to say

D)Physical change,no new substances formed since we only cutting the wood,we not burning to release energy in the air. It's still wood even though it's cutting
Question 2:
Chemical change,it is irreversable and there is large energy change(heat produced)
Question 3:
Physical change-No new substances formed, reversable, mass stays the same, small energy change
Chemical change-new substances formed,irreversable,mass changes,large energy change
Hi, sir can you make a video on the different types of chemical changes: 1. Decomposition 2. Combination 3.Crystalization, and how we get salt from the oceans
Q1:
a) Boiling of water - Physical change
b) Rusting of iron - Chemical change
c) Respiration - Chemical change
d) Cutting of wood - Physical change
Q2:
Cooking of food is a chemical change. When food is cooked, chemical reactions occur, such as the Maillard reaction, which changes the composition and properties of the food, leading to the formation of new substances with different chemical compositions and properties.
Q3:
What a brilliant Vid, i have a science test is 30 mins and this is going to help a lot!!!
Glad to hear
boiling of water and cutting of wood is physical change rusting of iron and respiration is chemical change
Cooking of food is a chemical change as it involves the change in the composition of thefood. After cooking, the raw ingredients of the vegetables cannot be regained.
change affects only physical properties i.e. shape, size, etc. Some examples of physical change are freezing of water, melting of wax, boiling of water, etc. A few examples of chemical change are digestion of food, burning of coal, rusting, etc
I love this video so much.
Great !
Sir tearing of paper is a chemical change or is it a physical change?
Physical change. Even though it is irreversible, no new substance is formed.
Thanks sir.

Nerd
Sir adding lemon to tea causing it's colour to change... Is it chemical or physical change...?? Pls reply 🙏
You’ve got it all wrong bro, when you add lemon, the taste changes, that means that a new substance is formed
Which is a chemical change
@@raghav8114 when you add lemon the color changes and the taste, that means it’s a chemical change, a new substance is formed if the taste changed
You are incredible 👍👍👍👍
Thanks
you love teaching. It shows. :-) Great job! My 11 yr old had a confusion, after 12 mins, its clear. :-)

Q1
a- physical change
b- chemical change
c- chemical change
d- physical change
Q2- It's a chemical change because the new substances that are formed cannot be made back to the raw food. Also their composition must have changed as the cells of the food are heated.
Q3- Difference one- new substances are formed in chemical change but not in physical change
Difference two- lot of energy is produced during chemical change but very less energy is produced during physical change.
Difference three- chemical changes are irreversible/permanent but most physical changes are reversible (there are exceptions too).
Your teaching way and way of understand ing concept is really assum sir
Glad to hear that
not compulasarily all of the physical changes are reversible. how will u reverse cutting the lemon?
@@muchado961 no no
But reversible means totally back. Lemon shld be back to normal. Got it now??
@@muchado961 hehe but you were a bit wrong. no offense or snything k>
@@muchado961 I know what physical and chemical changes are. I've graduated already and am in science field. Putting a lemon back together doesn't make it back. Of course it is physical change, since the material is same, no new components have been formed. But it's irreversible. That's what I mean to say
@@avacadoanime good. I’m glad you understand. I’m in chemistry myself and mistook your question to be that of a confused middle school student. Good luck in your science endeavors.
Tysm!
1 a physical change
B chemical
C chemical change
D physical change
2 cooking of food is a chemical change as it is the finished result of a bunch of ingredients mixed with each other and put under sudden temperature changes. All of this helps the ingredients react with each other to the point that we get something that tastes completely different than the raw materials.
3 ! Physical changes are usually reversable whereas chemical changes are not.
! Physical change can change the shape or size of the substances whereas chemical changes are the combination or result of two or more atoms (changes chemical properties
! New substances are formed in chemical changes whereas new substances aren't formed in physical vhanges

Wow, thank you!
the raw sugar is converted into powder sugar so it is not a reversible so it is a chemical change
For chemical change new substance has to be formed. Since no new substance is formed it is a physical change. Even though it is irreversible.
actually you are able to boil and strain the water therefor it is reversible

1) (a)physical change
(b)chemical change
(c)chemical change
(d) physical change
2) cooking of food is a chemical change. i will explain why with an example.
so when you are cooking roti, the brown parts form because of the formation of carbon, so there is a new substance formed
and it's also irreversible
3)in physical change : no new substance is formed.
'in most cases' it is reversible
there is no change in mass
whereas in chemical change : a new substance is formed
it is irreversible
the mass of the substance changes
B.P is the physical changes while others respiration and rusting of Iron is the Chemical change and cutting of wood is the physical change.
2: yes, cooking is the Chemical change because it's produce a new product which is eatable while pre cooked food was not eatable...
3 Chemical and physical difference
1 when any substance chemically mixed it will be able to distinguish/separate out.
2 it will gives a new product which not convertable back to it's original form
Many of chemical change spitounius changes (not for all).

2)mass not change .
3)no new substance if formed.
Sir if any correction should be done ,so, reply me .
Rusting of iron is not an physical change. You cannot reverse it, and a new substance is Iron oxide is formed.
And cutting of wood is a physical change because when you cut the wood into pieces, the wood remains wood, like it was told in the video that some physical changes are irreversible like breaking of glass.
Nice
Thanks
