Great review mate, when it comes to the overheating yes it was partly due to the smaller spur gear, but also hobbywing have now recommended to fit a cap pack, not a super large one, but the one offered for max8 be fine. The stock capacitors on the esc (wich is a max8) on the v1 overheats and triggers the thermal cutoff.

They really should add a removable wheelie bar to keep them front wheels on the ground. I don't know, but that's where the steering is. Again removable. What's the harm? Everyone is not a basher. Awesome Doc. Thanks for keeping us in the loop.

just got this as my 1st RC car i mainly have 6s 5000mah 50c but after looking at yours i do have some 4s 5000mah 50c so may be using them lol , CANT wait until it dries up outside to have a go on mine

Yeah that's one of those version 1. I wouldn't do it at all. I think in the end you end up spending more money trying to get upgraded even better off just getting this if you're going to get one.

So hard to not be negative about a company that straight copied aarma but I do have to say the v2's are better than v1 . I drove my friends kronos and I did a wheelie and the wheelie bar bent up into the truck and the drive shaft popped out and I felt terrible because I was trying to take it easy. Im perfectly happy with my arrmas I don't see anything better on these rigs yet, plus the v5 kraton and outcast are out now so I hope to see you get one!💪👍🤙

if you look at design of most cars and trucks they all are somewhat similar . the biggest thing here is that they should have had different names not matching arrma and also the top mount protecting the body. I dont think any of this is phasing arrma at all.

I wonder if the arrma Kraton pillow ball would fix the issue?. Or replace the whole hub with an arrma Kraton??. Plan on buying one next week

When checking brushless motor temps ,what is a safe temp range? What is to hot?
Anything under 150-160 degrees hope that helps
I have a question. I used the blx 200 esc in my hoss for 4s bit the esc has 2 plugs and the motor plugs are to small so how did you get that esc to work in you hoss.
Should not have been. Did you buy your hoss used? The Hoss comes with 6.5 bullet connectors which should bolt into the blx200 speed controller with no problem. And not sure what you're talking about with two plugs and stuff I'm a little confused on your comment but it should be a direct bolt in look at my video that I did on mine just pause it when I show the Hoss with the body off

I just had a quick question I’m new to the rc world and I got myself the Kronos v2 I have had it for like 1 month and it breaks every time I drive it and I’m not doing any extreme bashing with it I’m pretty much driving it in a straight line what can I do to make it stronger and not have a problem with it breaking every time I drive it and I’m kind of getting annoyed because I’m trying to have a little bit of fun with it and it just breaks
