As a guy who was once super obsessed with fashion and worked in the fashion industry for years, my style drastically changed. I wore mainly trendy clothing but now I'm a monochromatic minimalist who wears only purple. My whole life is purple now and I love it💜
I have tried boxier and loser fits, but as someone who is relatively short (5’7 in shoes) it doesn’t really do me any favors in the “look a little taller” department lol. I also think slimmer, more fitted cuts tend to be a bit more timeless.
Thanks, glad to hear you enjoyed! The amount of clothing has kept me doing laundry about 1-2 times per week (sometimes less) including towels and lights/whites. My accent pieces like overshirts and sweatshirts get worn multiple times before they're washed - same goes for pants as well!
Last month I went thru my clothes and got rid of lots and lots. I also had bought some new clothes(not as many as I deaccesioned) and found that I was going toward simpler cuts, less color and patterns. In a way, I'm looking to dress more in a monchromatic colorway. I don't know that I am a minimalist, but clothing is part of an apartment wide declutter I tackled first.
Keeping my wardrobe simple has really helped eliminate clutter first thing in the morning, which was important for me. It's also a lot easier to style my clothing because almost everything goes together now.
My brown watch is from a brand called Skagen - you can find it at this link: amzn.to/4csr0Az (fyi, this is an affiliate link). I didn't explicitly go over it in this video cause I'll talk it about it in an upcoming EDC video I'm planning. 🙂 Thanks for watching!
4:00 the cat is giving you judgmental looks😂 I decluttered some clothes recently and I’m trying to declutter books now so I can switch to a kindle! My space already feels so much nicer when I have less clothing.
He’s always a little judgmental 😂 Kindles are awesome! I love to read and while I prefer physical books for self help topics, I love using it for ready fantasy, and all fiction really. SO worth the money.
My rough count is 10 in black, 4 in olive green, 1 in light taupe, 1 in dark taupe, 1 in white, and 1 in navy blue (which I'm considering making those my dominant color next time I buy shirts) - this is excluding shirts I wear to the gym or sleep. Hope that helps!
Thanks for the support! Happy to talk about my weight loss, and I intend to make a more in depth video about my struggles & what I learned along the way, buuut - my weight loss was done through CICO (calories in, calories out) tracking. So, I weigh all my food & track the calories on everything. I eat really anything I want & am not living on salads 24x7, but I try to control how much I'm eating & nowadays I do eat healthier. I go the gym 3x a week, though I didn't when I did the majority of my weight loss. It's relatively new to me!
What does your minimalist wardrobe look like?

Love it! Wearing what makes you feel good and makes you happy is the best path towards a simple wardrobe!
Nicely done, I like the minimalist style. Keep up the good work.
Nice timeless basic pieces! My wardrobe is way bigger because I love dressing up but I buy less than in the past and only pieces that I truly like
That’s definitely what I aim for! I want the things I wear to always be in style so I can wear them to they’re falling apart.
This is exactly what I’m looking for bro thank you!!
Happy to help! 🤝
Love the selection! Have you considered wearing something boxy? I believe it’ll suit your build better!

Great Vid Mate! ✌🏻Love Allbirds i'm using a tree dasher as my only sneaker its going strong since 1 1/2 years.
I originally bought Tree dashers, but the ones I got gave me blisters 😅 I wanted to love them! Love your vids, btw.
Great video, Drew! Really enjoyed this.
With a wardrobe this sparse, do you find yourself doing laundry multiple times per week?

Thanks for this video. What a wonderful leather band watch do you wear in this video? Beside the casio classic?

How many tshirts do you normally have in each color? 😊

What brand are the shoes?

Currently loving your videos and gave you a sub!
Mind if you share a bit on what you did on your weight loss journey?

Ok but why do you call it minimalist? More then 2 pairs of pants is... That's just not minimalist, I'm sorry.
Minimalism means something different to everyone. This is minimalist for me :)
