I get a blue box and select the md5 file, but moment I hit start in the odn application, it starts to run it and says Fail. (get a red box in the odn). Any ideas? I tried it several times with and without my original SIM card. I want to root and then use region lock away application/software to unlock my device for use in Asia (India). Any help would be appreicated. Thank you.

So I am a bit apprehensive about rooting my device. But the lost file is important to me. I wanted to know if there is anything that you know of that I can do besides rooting to retrieve the file. & if rooting is the only way.. the best way to root the device. & to bring it back to factory settings after retrieving my pics & vids.

Especially when I write or try to switch between active apps. So I am about to root and install a custom Rom like cyagenmod or so. But even if my warranty is already gone I'm not sure doing this... Never done it before but having Ich of experience with electronics and Softwares... Anyway I'd be happy getting an answer to my questions if this tutorial is still they way to do it.

I tried this twice. Exact instructions SM N910F and said PASS ( odin ) but on reboot kept reseting an rebooting in a loop. All instructions followed correctly .. no reactivation lock ect etc

download the custom rom from samsung and do the same procces like rooting. it will restore your phone back to normal

Yeah. Download stock Samsung rom from my carrier and flashed it to my phone and boom. Fixed. After alot of sweating and panicking
