Sir, in Europe, do two people keep on conversing in their own language when everyone is there within an academic setting? For instance, say one Indian encounters a Pakistani at a conference. Will they talk in hindi/urdu/punjabi or stick to english only in front of others?
@Drganguli However, are people forced to talk in a language anywhere or english is acceptable by everyone even in rooms or at a private place? I meant to say that if an Indian and a Pakistani do research in the same department at the same university, will one force the other to avoid english when they communicate just in the first person's favour?
@@Drganguli This should happen all the time in my opinion. I really get disheartened when I hear that Indians have Indianized different parts of the english-speaking countries, particularly London and New York.
@ Yes the problem is if you reply in a language then the conversation will shift in that direction. It also leads to ghettoes being formed in line with ethnic groups and religions
Math isn't my strong suit, so I really appreciate the math explanations along with the code. Thank you.
Yes the math is needed here and the coding and math are closely linked in numerical computing. The complex step derivative method is very powerful

Both situations are possible. They don’t care about what other people think.

@ If the person does not reply in the native language then they will switch to English.
