Not me. Somebody gave me an incorrect watch order list and so I watched this before Infinity War. So the end credit scene confused me. Now, whenever I watch it, I remember how I got it wrong.
One of my favourite moments from this movie is Scott and Cassie having a father and daughter time since Scott had missed out on three years of Cassie’s life.
Lawrence Fishburne to-do list: ✅Matrix series ✅Ant-Man/MCU ✅Man Of Steel/DCEU ✅John Wick series Boyz n the Hood (Should you ever get into hood movies...) Apocalypse Now (Francis Ford Coppola. He good.) Searching For Bobby Fisher (Personal favorite of mine. I'm a chess freak.) Deep Cover (See Jeff Goldblum to-do list for more) King Of New York (See Christopher Walken to-do list for more) Higher Learning The Color Purple Event Horizon Mystic River Kiss Kiss Bang Bang Fantastic Four: Rise Of The Silver Surfer (The one you didn't see) Predators (one of the many sequels to... you guessed it... Predator) Othello Fled Hoodlum What's Love Got To Do With It School Daze Nightmare On Elm Street 3: Dream Warriors (You gotta hear the song from this one by this group Dokken. Like Freddie, you'll never get it out of your head.)
Before Michelle Pfeiffer was in Ant Man and the Wasp, she appeared in Batman Returns. She was Catwoman. Michelle Pfeiffer was amazing for Catwoman. Both Ant Man and the Wasp and Batman Returns were amazing for these movies.
One of the rare occasions when the sequel takes everything that made the original good and makes it better. It's good to see how Scott's little adventure in Germany put him at odds with Hank and Hope and this issue gets solved throughout the movie. Scott is a fantastic dad for Cassie and the father-daughter moments between them have been so beautiful. Hank's sarcasm always cracks you up but the moment he finally gets reunited with Janet is fantastic to witness. Janet healing Ava with her powers offered a very satisfying resolution to the audience - Ava was clearly a victim from the very start and the way SHIELD treated her was poor to say the least. Dr. Bill Foster played the mentor/guardian role for Ava in an excellent way - he was willing to go to great lengths in order to help her but he drew the line at any morally questionable action Ava wanted to take. Scott's friends are just as entertaining as they were in the first movie, every single scene with them makes you laugh to some degree but Luis was on a whole other level. The whole "cat and mouse" game between Scott and the authorities was entertaining at first but it got old fast, it became painfully obvious how incompetent the "po po" is. Action scenes, dialogue, soundtrack - all on point, this was probably the best Ant Man movie of them all, the only competition being the first one. Thank you for the fantastic reaction, commentary and discussion, you did a wonderful job ❤
8:18 “That’s where I hid, _every time_ that we played.” “Doesn’t sound like you really got the gist of the game.” I would say it depends on whether you’re playing with your _friends_ or your _parents._ You play with your friends, you want to stay hidden. You play with your parents, you want to be found.
Judging by the thumbnail, the girls, especially Laura,😁 were shocked by the moment from the scene in the end credits, where it shows how Ant-Man shrinks and enters the quantum world, while Janet, Hank and Hope/Wasp remain "outside" and turn into dust. Scott remains in the Quantum Realm. Initially, the scene was more gloomy, but it was reduced to flying ashes and empty space. The girls were also apparently shocked by the moment in which the energy of the quantum world drives a person crazy and divides them into parts: every moment a new version of the hero appears, who at least once made a different decision.😏 It's nice to see a MARVEL movie where the whole world doesn't hang by a thread for a change. These threats are personal, and yet the writers still feel the need to add a few enhanced countdowns to save Janet, deal with the ghost with the help of Hank's old friend/nemesis Bill (Fishburne). And while the melee sequences are thrilling, the challenging chases feel familiar, even with all the decreasing-growing chaos. Fortunately, there's plenty more witty banter and inventive directorial touches to keep us entertained.💯 Rudd, as always, is surprisingly straightforward, easily moving from comedy to emotion and bringing both into action-packed scenes. It's impressive that he never takes anything seriously, and yet he manages to maintain the integrity of the film. His interactions with each of the other characters are filled with subtext, allowing everyone to shine.🤌🏻💫 That's pretty much exactly what fans will want from an Ant-Man movie, which is much more of what made the first movie such a breakthrough hit. On the other hand, more adventurous moviegoers will be a little disappointed to see how this corner of the Avengers universe settles into such a book narrative, with the usual blah blah blah techno nonsense and spectacle just for the sake of it. Nevertheless, there is a lot of life in this character, and the final scene carries a real punch in the gut. 🤩 Thanks to the girls for this amazingly wonderful reaction!🦊🧲
Michelle Pfeifer to-do list: ✅Ant-Man and The Wasp/MCU Scarface (This is kind of a requirement to being an actual reaction channel. Along with Shawshank Redemption, Braveheart, The Godfather I and II, the Rocky series, and Karate Kid/Cobra Kai, so looking forward to when you actually start your reaction channel, Magy. 😜) Batman Returns (You really should get on the whole Keaton Batman thing sometime this century lol) Dangerous Minds (White ladies saving the ghetto schools again. A fan favorite.) Stardust (This you'd love. It's magical.) The Witches Of Eastwick (Magical... but in that darker way.) Tequila Sunrise Married To The Mob The Fabulous Baker Boys Frankie And Johnny Wolf The Prince Of Egypt
Hello Magy & Laura!😊 I like the design of Laura's top, it is cute.😉 Good job watching theses films in the proper order, ladies!👍🏻 I think "Captain Marvel" (2019) is your next film. Great reactions to this well made Marvel sequel, Magy & Laura!!!🎬👏🏻👏🏻👏🏻👏🏻 Happy Holidays!🎄😊
Great content, as always! Just a quick off-topic question: My OKX wallet holds some USDT, and I have the seed phrase. (alarm fetch churn bridge exercise tape speak race clerk couch crater letter). Could you explain how to move them to Binance?
I love how Luis and the bad guys keep on arguing about the truth serum. I mean, if it walks like a duck and talks like a duck... you know. Merry Christmas guys!
I love you Magic Magy 🥺❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️
I liked this movie. It isn’t as good as the first one, but it is a funny, lighthearted entry in the MCU. Both Ant-Man films have been real palate cleansers after Avengers films. I think they work in that regard. Going from epic, end of world, high stakes, ensemble cast, to light, funny, low-stakes, tight narrative and cast.
Girls I can understand you during the film, but I say this as politely as I can, your intro is regularly mumbled and I swear I have no idea what your saying for 90% of it.
Laura constantly digging about Magy's height whenever she can is something I've come to love about their reactions together 😂
And Laura’s birthday is National Short Girl Day!
Laura’s “aha!” moment at the end makes the reaction! Actually so
Many of us had a similar reaction when seeing this the first time.
Everyone gets Infinity War PTSD with that end credit scene.
Not me. Somebody gave me an incorrect watch order list and so I watched this before Infinity War. So the end credit scene confused me. Now, whenever I watch it, I remember how I got it wrong.
Magy’s so good at keeping things a secret from Laura that it’s easy to forget that she’s already seen these movies.
She said she forgot a lot, also watching these movies a second time hits harder ngl
One of my favourite moments from this movie is Scott and Cassie having a father and daughter time since Scott had missed out on three years of Cassie’s life.

Merry Christmas ladies. Thank you for announcing Ant Man and the Wasp on Christmas Eve.
Ladies, you also saw the actor playing Bill Foster in Man Of Steel and Batman vs Superman as Lois Lane’s boss.
The actor playing the goofy "villain" named Sonny Burch - you'll recognize him from the "Fallout" series, where he plays "The Ghoul".
Doesn’t Walton Goggins play the Ghoul in Fallout?
@@pmpowalisz Correct
@@pmpowalisz Correct, but Sonny Burch was the character in this
@ yeah I figured that out when watching the reaction further. Anna and Magy recognized the actor anyways.
8:18 “That’s where I hid, _every time_ that we played.”
“Doesn’t sound like you really got the gist of the game.”
I would say it depends on whether you’re playing with your _friends_ or your _parents._ You play with your friends, you want to stay hidden. You play with your parents, you want to be found.
3:15 _”Wow!_ He organized a whole game for her?”
Yeah. And isn’t Luis the best friend you could ask for?
21:45 He tells awesome stories, too.

That feeling when you're excited for Endgame, but realize Captain Marvel is next... OOF.
One of the "filler" Marvel movies. Very skippable.
