Since Zeku got his time to shine in 5, it's time that either Maki or Guy come back to fill out the Bushin Ryu practitioners. I think according to lore, Kimberly is the newest Grandmaster, which means she had to defeat Guy (who's master was Zeku) in order to become GM. So it'd make sense for him to show up.

I'd love to see Eagle in SF6, he has such a unique and awesome fighting style, he's only been in 2 games as well, and one was the terrible first game in the series.
I can't wait until they eventually add Balrog, Cody, Makoto, Dudley and especially Elena in the game, but I would love to see some EX characters (mainly Garuda but I'll even settle for Skullomania atp) finally get their time to shine.
I miss Elena so much 😢 The SF3 cast deserve more love. I also wanted to see Laura, Menat, C. Viper, Remy returning. I remember when SFV was a thing, I was waiting to see the Dolls being playable for years! I like the dolls especially Juli, Fevrier, Santamu and Satsuki. Sadly, all my dreams where shattered 😞
Personally, I'd love to have C. Viper come back. She was my main in SF4 and her hard combos are burned into my brain. Also, I agree with Mike Haggar. He needs to be in an official Street Fighter game already. The last game he was supposed to be in (Capcom All Stars I think?) was canceled like 20 years ago.

As much as I would like to see various characters added as DLC, I would also like to see them incorporated into the World Tour mode as well, becoming mentor characters to the avatar and teaching them how to use their moves in battle. With that in mind, it would make a number of past SF characters better than others for bringing back. Granted, not all of them would be the greatest of role models, but it would be an opportunity to flesh out their character even more.

Ken confirms that Sean graduated from being his disciple and Ryu even implies that Sakura got better at fighting than he has. So they're fully-fledged fighters as of Street Fighter 6 - we'd just need to see what they're currently up to for the details. Not that it would have mattered if they were still students anyway, because Kimberly exists and is in World Tour mode. She admits that she's not the best person to teach you Bushinryu since she's still learning herself - but she teaches you what she can anyway. So basically...being a student/disciple does *not* disqualify you from being a Master in SF6.
Haggar is actually a secret playable character in Street Fighter Zero (the Japanese version of Alpha 1) along with Dan, Bison (Vega in that game) & Akuma (Gouki in that game) so technically he has been playable in a main Street Fighter game.
And Balrog and FANG. Balrog was a really important part of Ed’s story, so I feel it’s only right to include him. And we already know a new story for FANG has started to develop thanks to Toxicity. And I think the fans will be happy with FANG as long as the devs make him interesting and fun, and the current devs have had amazing track record with that.

If she is his sister, there's plenty to play with there. And with her being a photographer looking for scoops, she could be investigating the story of Nayshall. I would like to see Capcom bring back Dan as Mr Saikyo wearing the Tengu mask and get as close to ripping off Mr Karate as they can (without getting sued). Like make him a proper serious character with decent fireballs and strong moves. And the running gag in his story should be that he truly believes nobody recognizes him like this, especially Sakura & Blanka.

Great list Shoryu! I was going to say Oro, Sean and Hugo as my choices. I love the thought of Q as well but only if they keep his taunt powerup in there! Necro would be so fun to watch with some updates to fit the new fighting style. I've grown to love the fighters in third strike so much watching pros play. I would definitely call third strike Street Fighter: Perfection so as many from that game as possible as far as I'm concerned.
I think 3rd Strike and Metro City both need more representation. The new character in Final Fight 3, Dean, hasn't made a Street Fighter appearance yet, but Lucia showed up in 5. Add them both. Then Elena, Makoto, Remy, Karin, Sakura, Sagat, Adon, Fei Long, Crimson Viper, Abel.
I would like to inlcude Akira Kazama in the list. Is so unfair Capcom finally recognizes Rival Schools only to forgive it existed again. She, or at least Batsu, deserve to come back.
You are right Jedi. It would be such a dumb decision to bring back Rival School characters in SFV just to forget them in SF6 My favorite RS characters are Tiffany, Natsu, Shoma, Momo, Zaki and Chairperson.

if you guys notice, of them 4 in the next line of designated DLCs, 3 of them are characters with projectile techniques (Rashido, Ed, Akuma). SF6's developer seemingly inclined to this kind of type of characters that they even give Blanka projectile in a form of Blanka-Chan doll. my prediction is that the 2nd line of DLCs will reveal characters with projectile ability also. especially those who are connected with main story theme; Nayshall fiasco, shadaloo remnants, Mad Gears, and psycho power. thus my bet is on : C. Viper, Decapre, Sean, and either Necro from SF III, or Dean and Kyle Travers from Final Fight franchise.

if there is a slot for Capcom cross title game DLC (for teasing next fighting game with RE engine or else), my options are Saotome Jin, one from Justice Gakuen/Rival School (either Batsu, Kyosuke, Roy or Akira), Lynn Kurosawa and Ruby Heart Yeah i know some of them will be nerf because of SF natural mechanics a.k.a footsies, but still I curious if Capcom made them in RE engine. I wouldn't mind seeing Characters from "Fighting EX Layer" to make a comeback in SF6, sure they're not Canon and are not in the same Universe anymore, but come on Bro, it's the *"Thought"* that still counts. I would love to see Kairi, Hokuto and even Skullomania become part of the Main Roster as DLC.
Nice picks, not sure who I'd pick myself. I was always a fan of Darun and Zangief together in the Street Fighter EX games, they felt like they could make good rivals and, other that Marisa, the only rivals I can think of for Zangief was Mika, and maybe Hakan? lol They also had cool team up attacks but that isn't something you would see in SF6 sadly. He'd fit in on the India WT stage for sure.
After Street Fighter 6 Year 1 DLC had already begun, from Rashid coming this Monday and new character A.K.I., she's coming this fall and Ed is coming next year and Akuma alongside with him too, I think Year 2 is coming on Street Fighter 6 on to the next round, I wanna see the return of Elena and Lucia and Cody. Cody is from Street Fighter Alpha, Elena is from Street Fighter 3 and Lucia is from Fina Fight to Street Fighter 5. I don't think Q is ever gonna be back but perhaps a character associated to them and G. Fei Long never was that popular so I don't think he's gonna be added. Sean personally I don't like them but I guess it makes sense to the story for him to be back. Necro and Elena would be nice dlc but I doubt they'll be included so... whatever. (Elena was cited in the story mode of Lily, Necro story was basically over at SF3)
my pipe dream is that we could get an entire season pass out final fight characters, I want Cody, Haggar, Guy, and poison all a lot bc they're some of my favorites in all the old sf games and marvel vs Capcom. outside them really want Seth with their street fighter v redesign and maybe have more references to old Capcom games like them doing JoJo bizarre adventure punch rush

Personally as a character that I would love to see again in 6, Cody (he was my hand in SF4), Urien (my hand in SF3), Gill, Necro (I liked it a lot and I think he deserves more love from Capcom), Elena, Dudley, Oro, Sean (this character has a lot of potential), Q, Hakan (I found his fighting style funny), Makoto and why not Twelve or Remy (if Capcom arrives to better rework them). Here is my personal wishlist (it would be nice for me if there were at least a few) but then let's not forget that it would be interesting if Capcom made all new characters for SF6
Haggar is just Zangief with a Pipe and Muda muda super. You're not missing out on much there. You probably wont get Yun or Yang because of Jamie. Same goes for Guy. A character thats already been represented in an old style is probably out. That being said, I got room for 2 more possible mains. Menat and hopefully El. Fuerte or C. Viper. 6 = 6 mains. Sim, Blanka, Gief been with me from the start. Rashid came in 5 and I need my final 2.
I've said it before, but I'd love to see Necro return. Haggar makes total sense, and is long overdue. Leaving out any crossover characters from other companies (e.g. SNK), I'd also be interested in seeing more clarity about the likes of Gill, Kolin, Q, and G. Seriously, I'm done with Shadaloo (Neo or otherwise), so let's get some resolution to the Secret Society stuff. It might also be interesting to see Maki or Eagle, too.

I would like to see Sakura, Karin, Sean, Laura, Makoto, a Vega successor, a Sagat successor, Falke, Decapre, R. Mika to be added to Street Fighter 6. Not only do I like these characters but I think they also fit the story and the theme of 6. Which is for me about what the next generations is going to deal with in a post Shadaloo and Mad Gera world. Which is why I think they will focus more on the younger characters and several of the older characters (especially the ones that are physically old) will be replaced with new ones based off of the older characters fighting style.

Great list Shoryu! I was going to say Oro, Sean and Hugo as my choices. I love the thought of Q as well but only if they keep his taunt powerup in there! Necro would be so fun to watch with some updates to fit the new fighting style. I've grown to love the fighters in third strike so much watching pros play. I would definitely call third strike Street Fighter: Perfection so as many from that game as possible as far as I'm concerned.

I think 3rd Strike and Metro City both need more representation. The new character in Final Fight 3, Dean, hasn't made a Street Fighter appearance yet, but Lucia showed up in 5. Add them both. Then Elena, Makoto, Remy, Karin, Sakura, Sagat, Adon, Fei Long, Crimson Viper, Abel.

if you guys notice, of them 4 in the next line of designated DLCs, 3 of them are characters with projectile techniques (Rashido, Ed, Akuma). SF6's developer seemingly inclined to this kind of type of characters that they even give Blanka projectile in a form of Blanka-Chan doll.
my prediction is that the 2nd line of DLCs will reveal characters with projectile ability also. especially those who are connected with main story theme; Nayshall fiasco, shadaloo remnants, Mad Gears, and psycho power.
thus my bet is on : C. Viper, Decapre, Sean, and either Necro from SF III, or Dean and Kyle Travers from Final Fight franchise.

I agree with everyone saying we need more SF3 representation. The character I'm hoping for the most is Twelve. Since I only play Random Select, it would be awesome if we can get an updated rendition of Twelve and their XCOPY super.

Yeah i know some of them will be nerf because of SF natural mechanics a.k.a footsies, but still I curious if Capcom made them in RE engine.

Nice picks, not sure who I'd pick myself. I was always a fan of Darun and Zangief together in the Street Fighter EX games, they felt like they could make good rivals and, other that Marisa, the only rivals I can think of for Zangief was Mika, and maybe Hakan? lol
They also had cool team up attacks but that isn't something you would see in SF6 sadly. He'd fit in on the India WT stage for sure.

After Street Fighter 6 Year 1 DLC had already begun, from Rashid coming this Monday and new character A.K.I., she's coming this fall and Ed is coming next year and Akuma alongside with him too, I think Year 2 is coming on Street Fighter 6 on to the next round, I wanna see the return of Elena and Lucia and Cody. Cody is from Street Fighter Alpha, Elena is from Street Fighter 3 and Lucia is from Fina Fight to Street Fighter 5. I think I already chose these three fighters coming after Year 1 is completed!🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥

4.G I'd like to see how well he's doing trying to convince people to join him after gill challenging him and seeing if he can best or annoy JP
5.Sagat it be interesting to see how they will change him in this game
6.maki she hasn't appeared in any other game except a few versions of alpha 3 and cvs time she gets another chance to fight.
7.alex after hes fight with gill i wonder what he'll be doing next though he's in the same wrestling federation as zangief.
8. R.mika it be cool to see her go against marisia and both praising zangief for his strength.
9.fei long he definitely deserves to return and see if he can add some new moves or nunchucks to his moveset.
10.juli it be cool to see one of the dolls use a mix of cammys moves with the thundertribes fighting style
I don't think Q is ever gonna be back but perhaps a character associated to them and G. Fei Long never was that popular so I don't think he's gonna be added. Sean personally I don't like them but I guess it makes sense to the story for him to be back.
Necro and Elena would be nice dlc but I doubt they'll be included so... whatever. (Elena was cited in the story mode of Lily, Necro story was basically over at SF3)

my pipe dream is that we could get an entire season pass out final fight characters, I want Cody, Haggar, Guy, and poison all a lot bc they're some of my favorites in all the old sf games and marvel vs Capcom. outside them really want Seth with their street fighter v redesign and maybe have more references to old Capcom games like them doing JoJo bizarre adventure punch rush
I pretty much agree with this top. Personally as a character that I would love to see again in 6, Cody (he was my hand in SF4), Urien (my hand in SF3), Gill, Necro (I liked it a lot and I think he deserves more love from Capcom), Elena, Dudley, Oro, Sean (this character has a lot of potential), Q, Hakan (I found his fighting style funny), Makoto and why not Twelve or Remy (if Capcom arrives to better rework them). Here is my personal wishlist (it would be nice for me if there were at least a few) but then let's not forget that it would be interesting if Capcom made all new characters for SF6

Haggar is just Zangief with a Pipe and Muda muda super. You're not missing out on much there. You probably wont get Yun or Yang because of Jamie. Same goes for Guy. A character thats already been represented in an old style is probably out. That being said, I got room for 2 more possible mains. Menat and hopefully El. Fuerte or C. Viper. 6 = 6 mains. Sim, Blanka, Gief been with me from the start. Rashid came in 5 and I need my final 2.
When the Bulk of 6 is set in Metro City, We want The Ex-Mayor in the Roster.

I've said it before, but I'd love to see Necro return. Haggar makes total sense, and is long overdue. Leaving out any crossover characters from other companies (e.g. SNK), I'd also be interested in seeing more clarity about the likes of Gill, Kolin, Q, and G. Seriously, I'm done with Shadaloo (Neo or otherwise), so let's get some resolution to the Secret Society stuff. It might also be interesting to see Maki or Eagle, too.

I would like to see Sakura, Karin, Sean, Laura, Makoto, a Vega successor, a Sagat successor, Falke, Decapre, R. Mika to be added to Street Fighter 6. Not only do I like these characters but I think they also fit the story and the theme of 6. Which is for me about what the next generations is going to deal with in a post Shadaloo and Mad Gera world. Which is why I think they will focus more on the younger characters and several of the older characters (especially the ones that are physically old) will be replaced with new ones based off of the older characters fighting style.

Nakayama once said during an interview that he wanted Cody as part of the base roster, but ultimately decided to cut him.
here's to hoping that after the 1st season, they'll do DLC seasons based on older SF titles, Final Fight and Rival Schools
