I love my 95 E300 Diesel. Its just a special car especially with the 4valve Twin cam OM606. 28 years old and has zero rattles. When they say the W124 is built like a bank vault, they mean it. Hope to never sell it. Nice review btw.
Agreed with u bro...i owe my w124 for the past 23 years...never dissapointed me as my daily driving. Never been towed or stranded by the road. Will only kaput infront of the house...hahaha
even newer cars left me stranded before..not the 124. built to last

Yup a good car W124 ..i own one since 1997 till today...its a smart car as Qisya said..will kaput infront of the house. My w124 now oredi 33 years old..still good.Its a 1989 car actually.

Nice car bro.I have original MP E280 .I agree solid machines if maintained properly oil changes etc.Did you need swap the wiring loom or is 280E not affected? You have a sub!

I bought that black on black sw124 Mercedes’ Benz wagon that was on eBay for a while out of Miami paid to much for it because he listed things he did to it that’s was very misleading and I been redoing the suspension and over hauled the brakes systems bearing pads rotors and cleaning up the rust painting it the shields behind the rotors and powder coated the calibers etc and oil pan and gasket you name it but I’m really enjoying the it! I wished I got the silver AMG wagon they have now because by the time I’m finished fixing the lie I’ll be close to buying that one. It has the body kit and all the looks of a AMG wagon but now that I know more about them it’s like you faking the real thing! But anyway that’s a whole other conversation because I didn’t know what I know now so yeah I got screwed so people do you homework before you jump into these w124 and sw124 Mercedes but it you fine the right one even if it has high miles they are wondering to own.
Hey man. This was passed down from my late dad, so I have all the service history and its been running strong. Hope you get to sort out yours and I believe after sorting it, it's gonna be alright because they are basic cars with basic maintenance and parts
I have an eye disease that prevents me from driving. They may be able to fix it next year and if I can drive again, I want a W124 or W126. Even a W123 if it's nice enough.
