    Purchased my 154” for $700CAD retail, & I must say I have never felt so at home on any other snowboard. For my setup I ride 2017 burton boots with 2016 burton mission bindings, all my gear holds up great even in the park @ blue. Moral of the story; if you have the $ for it then go with the 2020 burton custom, it is hands down the best snowboard out there to date IMO!

      Purchased 166W 2020 with burton boots and mission bindings. I like it. Very stable on high speed.

      I always enjoy talking about the Burton Custom as no other board has managed to sustain such pedigree like it has in my view. Yes its changed over the years but it still is the ultimate bench mark as snowboards go. Robert

    online people complain about the est bindings and channel setup. they say its not the best feel, 4x4 is better, and the bindings tend to come loose because of only 2 screws. could you give some opinions. is it the reason I always see cartel est bindings for sale on craiglist? lol

    How do I know, by looking at a snowboard if it’s got camber? I’m a new boarder and have no clue. I’m looking at a second hand board and it has burton custom 7 on the top with a stayized c

    loving ur vids man, keep it up.. would you reccomend me buying the flying v or trad camber? was leaning towards the 162w size cause of my weight and 13 boot size but really uncertain about which one to go for

      Hi Lorenzo, thanks for watching!
      We would recommend the traditional camber version over the flying V. We've ridden both and the camber always came out on top for performance and edge hold for us.
      Hope this helps!

    Had to look up what 'piste' is. We don't use that term in America haha

    What about Flying V?

    • @Snowtraxstore
      @Snowtraxstore  4 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      Hey, thanks for watching!
      In our opinion, the Burton Custom works best as a cambered snowboard. It's flex and shape work best in conjunction with the camber profile. The flying V option is still a good snowboard, but the Custom Camber is way more fun to charge on!

    Does this board have anything similar to magnetraction?

    • @Snowtraxstore
      @Snowtraxstore  4 ปีที่แล้ว +5

      Hello,
      Yes Burton have Frostbite Edges - this is where the edge is pushed out by 0.5mm under the bindings to give more grip. It is much more subtle than Magne-Traction but it is there. It combines well with the Dual Zone EGD under the bindings which is the core running across the board for better edge response rather than tip to tail like the rest of the core.
      The other key thing to note is that Mervin boards have some form of rocker with the hybrid shapes. The less rockered, more camber dominant shapes like C3 have a milder amount of Magne-Traction because camber naturally helps engage the edge. So with the Burton Custom Camber it already has good edge grip because the traditional camber loads the power to the edge anyway.
      Hope that helps, thanks, Robert
