Great. Thx for this. :-)
Glad you liked it
Thank you for your content. I like the information and they way you explain a lot. I already achieved a l-sit an p bars but struggle with doing a proper lsit on the floor without rounding a bit in the upper back.I feel like my shoulder just doesnt depress enough. But maybe this is just an excuse for not being strong enough or is it okay/normal to round a bit?
It all depends on your individual strength, flexibility and limb length. Try raising the hands slightly on yoga blocks and see if that helps. Most people will see improvement by increasing thoracic mobility and compression
Any idea when we will see the one arm handstand on P bars video?
Coming soon!
@@PaulTwyman thank you!!!! Im only insisting because you are the best coach I have ever had the opportunity to learn from . The information you provide is unmatched. Clear, simple, concise, and down to earth. Because of you i have been making tremendous improvements in my one arm handstand.
Hi Paul,
I would say that my hamstring flexibility is not that bad. But in pancake or pike stretch on the floor my lower back is still not quite straight. Especially when I start to lean forward slightly. Do you have any explanation and exercises that help me with this?
Thanks in advance!
By the way, you make very helpful and straightforward videos. Great channel.
I would experiment with stretching other areas of the body and see if that helps. The most common two would be Hips so Pigeon and/or Hip Flexor stretch then Thoracic extension. Hard to give anymore detail without assessing, hope that helps. Great to hear you're enjoying the videos
@@PaulTwyman Yes thanks. I need to work a lot on my Pigeon stretch.
From what I remember from my own experience and from what I've seen from others learning pancake, this is quite normal. The rounding in the lower back will flatten out over time as you get even more flexible.
Another wheel spinner Paul. It wont load.
Not sure why. It’s had over 2k views and comments so others can view. It’s 4K if that makes a difference, don’t think it should
