flavored air my assp chael sonnen...
I'm a huge fan of yours Chael sonnen on my watch TH-cam having to leave this comment but my comment is not about what you were talking about but actually about video that you made prior to this one and I just wanted to ask if you ever read this a simple question that is this and I'll make it kind of short as I can. You were talking about in your other video you have made about Alex Pereira and the rest of the vision at 205 lb and it got me thinking you can look at a division when it has a dominant champion and I'll just throw some names out there real quick like Izzy Usman khabib nurmagomedov volkanovski when you had those guys right there and that's just here recently that I'm putting these guys up there for they've been guys in the past that's held the division for a long time like Anderson Silva who you literally had beat and he come up with that unbelievable submission hold but not to make a stab at you or anything it has nothing to do with that it has to do with when you have a champion that is so good that he starts lapping the field in his division so much so that they literally run out of opponents kind of like what Izzy did and you could say the same with kamara Usman just like when Jon Jones was at 205 lb or volkanovski with that being said my question is this when you have dominant champions like that I've often wondered has the idea ever came to Dana White Hunter Gamble's attention and that is look back at pride when pride was an organization and they had their tournament you could do something kind of like pride done but different you can take the top six guys not counting the champion and put them in a tournament type situation to where when a card was called out and the fighters are named you don't just put this whole card together with let's 145 lb fighters or 205 lb fighters or 185 lb fighters they can keep putting their cards together like they do all the time but in the middle of these you also have these fight weeks and you could put on those cards some of the fighters in these little tournaments and if the winner of the fights and let's say they do it 1 vs 6 2 vs 5 3 vs 4 and I'm just throwing this out there say in one of the fights you have a fighter that wins but he can't fight in say 4 to 5 months then the loser would automatically go for it if he could fight if he could not fight then you move on but the point I'm getting at is you make these fights until you get a number one contender to fight the champion at that weight class and yes it means the champion might have to wait a couple months but heck nowadays you have guys like in the past you've had certain champions wait a year before they fight again and Aljo was one of those up until he fought Sean O'Malley he had made the next person in line wait about a year before he fought again Islam fights a little bit more than that but not a lot more than that and a lot of the times it's because it comes into Ramadan so either way you look at it when you have a champion that is so dominant that so either way you look at it when you have a champion that is so dominant that the division has went into basically a stalemate to who is the next contender and you just guess and just give a guy shot like Dana White did Sean Strickland and it paid off for Sean Strickland so I tip my hat off to him but would it not make it interesting to see a tournament style type of fight to see who gets the shot at the champion in the divisions as of now we have 205 lbs that there's really no clear-cut contender you have one guy from Russia and that's about it and Alex is already talking about going to heavyweight fighting Tom or Jon Jones but that's my question do you think that it would be interesting to me I think it would be great to see a tournament style at a weight class and if anything I think picking one weight class a year to do this in each year would make it even better for the casual fan especially but for the fans who are hardcore as I am I think it would be damn well an attention getter for a lot of guys that are wanting to move up the ladder that are wanting to prove their self these young cats let's look at 155 lb and this will be the end of my comment you have the top five contenders that move around but they don't move far you know like Charles Oliveira just lost arman moved up one spot Justin gaethje just lost to Max Holloway but he still probably going to move down a spot and Dustin's probably going to take that spot you have Michael Chandler who's ready to whole year for Conor McGregor I think he is ranked 6th in the division so if you could get these guys a tournament style or type of situation I think you would have one better fights to they would fight harder because they know what's at stake three you would have these guys that are younger let's use the name like at 185 lbs Bo nickal who would absolutely jump at the lighter to try to get up to a 6th or 5th ranking at 185 lb and at 155 you would have Patty the body you would absolutely try to find someone in the top six to fight so yeah I myself think that that would be very interesting to see and for the champions I think they already have the belt and they're wanting to hold on to the Bell as long as they can anyway so when they do get that contender whoever comes out of these small tournaments it would make it even bigger paydays for Dana White and pay-per-views and it would make it better for the viewing public because they would want to see that more but that is my question for you Chael sonnen do you think having a playoff type situation in one-way class in one year and I'm not saying they have to fight one fight after another in one night I'm saying they would have to fight in a playoff type atmosphere to earn the right to fight the champion that is my ultimate question
I remember Max about five calling me “Uncle” on the beach at Makaha. We were bodysurfing and having fun right there at the south end of Makaha Bay. I remember him clearly. Want to know why he is that way? First, it’s his humility and respect. He calls everyone “Brother.” Ralph Waldo Emerson talked about Mystic Officials… well, Mystic Officials watch out for everyone, but they especially love tough men & women that treat everyone like they’re kin. Like they are important.
May sound crazy but it’s true.
Another thing. Where he comes from is a magical place. Truly. No wonder he’s blessed. Love you, Max. Love you, my Hawaiian Keiki. Love you, Makaha. ♾💙

I swear Chael videos are 70% coming up with the most random stories to make a point and 20% sponsorships🤣🤣🤣🤣
Lol
And 10% pauses and making hand gestures 😂
I swear if your start a chael video halfway through without reading the title, you'd be lost for the rest of the time. 😂😂😂
Thats why hes the goat

I came here to hear about mma. Instead I'm now an expert on all things horse.
Except you're not, because almost nothing he said about horse racing is remotely accurate 😂
And about being smart
Can you answer me this than if you're a expert? You have a horse alone on a island you can't fly him off or float him off how do you get him off?
I know He's the damn goat of the rambles
@@bitbracegive him a hand
Congrats on going into the hall of fame
Another win for the bad guy
lol 8 min in, I had totally forgotten why we were here, “oh yea, Max..”
😂😂😂
Shout out to the OG’s who have heard this story before.
Do you know where to find Joel era podcasts?

I’m a former smoker, drinker and all around professional addict. Take it from me, addiction is basically just another word for bad decision making. You don’t need Fum, you need to make a decision every time you think about using. An addict will have to make the choice thousands of times more than a non addict and that’s where the difficulty is. It’s easy to make the wrong decision when the choice is constantly bombarding you and you already suck a making the right decision. Don’t replace, just quit and be determined to do better every day.
That said, Chael knows something about horse racing. Only the most gangster people race horses in West Linn. Some horses don’t like to work. Some horses need to be in the back of the pack to be good. Some need a big lead. Horse have very distinct personalities. I also spent a lot of time
Around tracks and I’m the barns out back of the tracks.
Max Holloway races horses.
And hits people in the head apparently.
Max is blessed by the MMA gods

Dude when will you make a video on getting into the HoF, we're all happy for you and want to hear your words on it
He said he isn’t too happy about it.
If you didn't come here to hear exactly whatever tf Chael has to say... you're wrong.
It should absolutely be expected and intended by now lol
@9:56 when Chael said " the house is on fire" I giggled inside
I love hearing this story! I was just thinking about it, over this last weekend.
i don't know why i keep watching when i can never understand what he's talking about.
What didn’t you understand? Pigs don’t know math, his horse stuck his head out at the finish line even though it didn’t know where the finish line was, some people don’t seem to work as hard but make a lot of money wearing sweaters, and max is a lot like a horse.
I'm sure that happens to you alot

Neither does he
When Max lets his hardware cool down, he's upgrading his software.
Max payed his dues. Entertaining. Takng fights that are dangerous.
Putting his name on the dotted line and in front of thousands.
Mandate of the Masses
This was one of your best pieces yet. Really starting to take in how you link your experiences to your points. Great!
Max has a ton of heart and always has a game plan... that spin kick to gaetje, everyone knows gaetje does a 1 2 then leans to the side to duck under counter punch and comes back... max thru that kick a few times perfectly timed
Your dad had the Jon Jones of horses.
Beautiful story telling and insightful philosophy. That might be my favorite Chael post so far!
Good video, well said.
Chael is so articulate and one of the greatest sh$t talkers in the sport. Him and Conor would be crazy if they were in the ufc during the same time.
Perspective....🤔 good stuff Chael💪❤💯💯💯💯💯💯
bro just spent 4 mins talking about me.. don’t know why he kept calling me sun vest though but respect
I feel so inspired. I wish I knew how to be a Max Holloway.
As a show jumper who raced to pay my way, I understand 4:57
Max throwing down the 10 second gauntlet and then ko'ing Justin was the most fucking incredible noment in UFC history since Anderson slapped that triangle on uncle Chael back in the day
Jaw dropping knee slapping wife waking hoohaw gadangbit
Congratulations on HOF entry and thank you for being the bad guy
You the man. You're spot on. Always
The spin kick was sandhagen.
Love ❤u chael but spinning back kick was always a huge part of max’s arsenal!
You can tell that entire fight max could’ve finished it at any moment. He held up for an amazing 5 rounds. Exactly like you said he’s got an understanding that only comes around every 30 years.
“Buying calls and selling puts” are specifically a contract on what will happen to something and are highly speculative
BMF Title fights - do you see any any value in making a rule that there must be a knockout. Technical knockout or knockout knockout. There's no knock out after five rounds, there will be more rounds? So there can only be 0:01 one man standing for the BMF Title?? Would that make any kind of sense???
Same thing in lower level car racing a lot of places. A set price any racer can buy any other racers engine for no reason needed. Keeps people from cheating to an extent that makes their excessive engine expenses could easily change ownership if you win by too great a margin to seems feasible.
Chael, can you respond with your thoughts on the stuff about jocko getting SEALS KIA?
F-ing love Chael..
Nothing i enjoy more than my daily 15-45 minutes of Chael presenting his masterclass abilities in yapping
It was the water bottle cap kick
I listen to these videos for the 15-20% of actual information or news given and just sit through the bs and fluff to get past the 8 min mark. But this video was 100% good.
The OG’s have heard this one before but we stay anyway and listen because thats the Bad Guy
Max Holloway can't let the rules get close
3, 3,4 to the body(the 3 punches to the body uncle Chael was talking about) with an immediate 4(overhand) to the head.
I like how you did that😊
I think Max landed at least 13 spin kicks against Justin in varying locations. Extremely impressive.
Talk about horsing around Uncle Chael said hold my cowboy hat
Chael what do you think of Illia saying he didn't see 👀 anything at all from Max that impressed him. Including his footwork. His head movement and everything else. Is he just being the bad guy or do you think he actually believes that?
Big congratulations on making the hall of fame.
The firdt half of your story was accurate
The second half was Corey Sandhagen 😂
Did y’all not hear him when he says he’s BLESSED.
4/5 on UFC300 bets, 14-3 on last 5 PPVs
Max The Eyepoker Holloway 😅 battle was wild
Was that not the Katter fight? Beat him up bad on CBS if I remember
Max used that spin kick on Aldo years ago.
As a former jockey that horse story is the most ridiculous story I’ve ever heard… ever.
I click Max Holloway video, and Chael starts: "My father was a horseman" I pause, grabbing popcorn, please continue...
150,000 customers and “thousands of successful customers” makes me think 9k maximum otherwise the ad copy would say 10,000 plus . So chances of success if all successful people are counted is not great, less the 7%
I thought my youtube froze for a few seconds lol
Chael makes me laugh. God bless him 🙏
he's getting max confused with Corey Sandhagen with the wheel kick story.
Max's chin alone is a once in a generation talent/skill.
I hope he decides to fight the winner of Conor vs Chandler. Conor says he wants the BMF belt and today Chandler said the same thing. Hell make ilia come to u at 155 for the BMF belt. I just think he he dismisses his abilities by cutting that much weight. His face was still sucked in when he cut for the BMF fight. He's proven he has the power at 155 to knock people out and win fights. He's already beaten Charles before and i think he could again. Yes the Islam match up is bad for him but its bad for everyone at 155. But he does have an excellent ground game. But we just haven't seen it in years because he's always winning on his feet. But he's very good at bjj. He's been at brown belt for a long time. They don't give out black belts like candy at his gym.
Minotauros horse got stuck in the parking lot
Did Max work on those eye pokes in his garage too?
Do the rules apply if Tito tapped?
What’s crazy is after a 5 round war max effortlessly got down in the last 10 seconds without being out of breathe
Chael, can you share your thoughts on a female BMF and j. Andrade.
Thanks
Cory Sandhagen was the one who taught himself to spin
Cory Sandhagen bought the horse from Chaels dad
Anyone else completely forget what the topic is half way through the video?
What TH-cam chael watch where chickens and pigs know math? I want in
It also helps if you happen to hold the all-time striking record and have an iron chin that has yet to be cracked.
Interesting video. Didn’t know anything about horse. Not sure if I still don’t. Cool video though, either way.
Heavily convinced if Max wouldve knocked Justin out with that spinning back kick, Fans would say he only won because he broke his nose
Lmao at chickens and pigs that know math on youtube
Professional news podcasts can barely raise any interest when speaking on important topics and this guy is yapping about the most farfetched analogies non stop every day and still manages to mesmerize his audience. Uncle cheal we need a monologue tutorial, but alas I suppose its just one of those things... those who know wont let anyone in on the secrets
That’s what happens when u play video games u become creative
UnChaeL busy finally ! LETS GO
Why is no one talking about the nasty eye pokes ? I guess that had nothing to do with the fight at all
This story never gets old, not for nothing 😂
My siblings played by the rules..
I got i trouble.
They look at me the same way.
Bigger house, better mortgage boats & cars, all paid for.
Howdy Uncle...
What the fuck does this horse have to do with max holloway😂😂😂
What kinda Mo vapes in the first place. ...
well after two eyepokes you would expect gaetje's vision to be compromised,
but we dont talk about that.. the main focus is Hill wasnt rdy after he kicked Alex in the nuts.. LOL.
but Heey they actually touched gloves before he got smoked.. so its kinda funny people try makin excuses for him.
Max is a horse!
Max Holloway can do whatever the fook he wants! This Holloway beats Volk with ease!
No
Maybe but idk.
They fought 3 times and lost 3 times.
That’s why he abuses eye pokes
At LW yes, not at Featherweight.
Bro wtf was he yapping on about and why the fuck was I so invested in sunvest
Robbie Lawler
You have a horse alone on a Island you can't fly him off or float him off how do you get him off?
Took us 7 mins to get to the ufc haha 😂
He found the 80/20.
This video is great lol 😂
Max Holloway follows his own rules... because the rules are too busy trying to keep up with him!
The more Chael talks about other sports, the more I believe hes never watched anything besides mma 🤣
Big Nog is who claimed that horse
Classic video 😂
it was the kattar fight
Ahhh hit 'em with the old Tex and Sun Vest, Uncle's stories are the best
That horse story is actually super cool
Tito tapped
Sometimes I feel like I'm listening to a Joe Biden Cornpop story when unc is talking. I hear he was a bad dude.
Horse analogies. We love you Uncle Chael. 🥊🥊🥊
