Easy peasy lemon squeezy solution for the situation if you guys keep getting the error 1. go to boot menu 2. Select custom boot as 1st option in boot sequence 3. At the custom boot option there will be two options a. add, b. Delete, Select ADD option 4. Now if done correctly, there will be an option with a rectangle to type anything on the boot menu 5. Add " \EFI\ubuntu\grubx64.efi 6. Save and restart 7. 🎉 All done 🎉 Like and share if work!
Go into your bios Go to boot options Select add customized boot option Define the path to be \EFI\ubuntu\grubx64.efi (or whatever works for you) Set custom boot option as first priority in boot order. Save and exit
@@pruthvirajchauhan2576 Press "f10" during log in and go to the "Advanced" tab. Then go to "Boot Options". Scroll down. Select the " Define Customize Boot Option". Select the "Add" button. Thank you!!! *****FYI!! On my HP when I accessed the F2 option and chose exit it would just reboot. BUT!!! The option was in the BIOS (F10) under boot options.

Hi, Really sorry that you're still facing issue. Try the following methods: 1. After booting, open terminal and type following commads: "sudo add-apt-repository ppa:yannubuntu/boot-repair && sudo apt-update" "sudo apt install boot-repair && boot-repair" Go to advanced options, Check 're-install Grub', apply it and then restart it. 2. In the 'Boot Settings' enable hard-drive as boot option, and place the hard-drive at the top of Boot Order. Hope this helps ^_^.
