I took copious notes and stills from the video-not something I do often for sure! Thanks Jessica! This was an extremely helpful video! I did not even know about fashion tape which will make a difference when I am taming long belts, gaping bust lines etc! Additionally, it was very helpful to see so many examples of each of the tips you put together for your viewers! I am definitely going to try two very different tips right away!!! ...The monochrome look (which makes more sense to me with your idea of monochrome tones vs exact colors and shades-VERY helpful and inspirational! Also much more easily accomplished with my specific closet!). I was also VERY inspired by your use of a color wheel for identifying colors and tones that can be put together in contrasting and complementary ways! PLEASE!!!!!! Do a more thorough video on just THIS topic! (As in 15 years!!).:The treasure hunt, the styling of entire outfits, the affordability...well, it has provided me with the way to source great quality (most often thrifted vintage!) and variety in my wardrobe!! I am finding a new creativity, and “hobby” that I gave up a long time ago (not that I haven’t thoroughly loved shopping my entire life (especially with my mom, aunt, and grandmother many decades ago; my sisters still, and now, with my daughter and DIL as well!). I also love thrifting for my grandchildren-especially when I can find them funky clothes that I know they will love (examples: A very fluffy faux leopard teddy coat for my 3 yr old granddaughter; and a boys, winter jacket with patches all over it that my “skater-girl granddaughter is going to love; a faux leather moto jacket and faux leather-fringed purse for another granddaughter (also 9!); and, a Liverpool “football” zip-up for my 13 year old grandson!) Thanks again for your inspiration and tutelage! Greatly appreciated!!! My best thrifting is done on Sunday after church, when Goodwill makes a certain “color tag” a $1.00 a piece! I have recently acquired a winter coat, a leather coat, blazers, dresses, vintage jeans and so on for almost nothing! So great to re-use and leave this earth a little bette for those grandchildren! OMG! I love today's quote! I just went back to school after 14 years and I was scared to go back because it's been so long, but I am eager to learn a new field of work. It is so true about how we need "difficulties" to mold us and to learn from. If I stayed at my old job that was easy, I wouldn't grow or learn or better myself... even though it was comfortable.
