    Great info! I came to the understanding that most of the time "that's interesting" = "that sucks". 🙂

    I think full touch screen is better, you point to the icon straight away no need to use the knob scrolling row by row

    No car is perfect. Each one has strong points and weak points. Some buyers value each at different levels. I actually like how you don't try to hide the weak points. Of course you don't magnify them more than necessary... but you help make sure the potential buyer knows what to expect. I think how it's a little funny when you come across something you aren't a fan of, you say "...that's interesting..." 😉 But great work. Thank you.

    Thanks for the video, was waiting for a Canadian model to show up.
    Are there active cruise control and other driving assistant features? It’s not clear on the Canadian configuration which driving assistant options are available whereas the EU 2023 X1 sites show three levels of driving assistance, standard, plus and pro.
    For example, in Canada, is city braking only for pedestrian detection (no description on configurator), and why is there only rear cross traffic warning, or is the front cross traffic hidden under parking assistant?
    Thanks again.

    • @DenverBMW
      @DenverBMW  ปีที่แล้ว +2

      no active cruise control right now. All driving assistant is standard for X1 in Canada. Pre-collision, blind spot, lane keep assist, steering intervention. City braking is also for pre-collision. cross traffic warning is in the parking assistant.

      @@DenverBMW I assume that the hardware required for active cruise control is similar to what you get in the enhanced package with parking assistant plus or is there additional hardware required for active cruise control? Do you know if the active cruise control (driving assistant plus) will be a purchasable option like in the UK?

    iDrive 8 looks like a nightmare. How many times have we seen a maker abandon knobs and buttons, and then bring them back?

      On the US site. Either way, very strange that there would be no spare on a vehicle without run flats.

    Absolutely don't like the buttonless interface. I don't know what the designers were thinking, the hazard light switch is 100% in the wrong place.

    '2021' ??? @ your first sentence... the USA model also has only sensa-tec seats and just 3 packages...mine will take 5 months before it comes in...and the bmw usa website says a compact spare tire comes standard. I would never buy a non flat tires if there were NO spare tire...

    Not for me. I like a traditional shifter and a volume control knob....as well as physical buttons for climate control. Most drivers prefer these things. Not these 'hokey' ways to cheapen the vehicle that are a fad and will quickly die away as sales numbers plunge. The Audi Q3 beats this hands down.

    Very ugly suv. Most of the BMW models nowadays are pure garbage. Some of the ugliest designs I have ever seen.
