I’ve been using the panther class set up so that it allows me to use the honey badger, an smg with a lot of damage and range without having a damage drop off while using a suppressor. It drops enemies super quick and I put a digital scope on it so it works well at close and long range. Pretty good all around load out
Was using the koblin as my main weapon for a while after I unlocked it, beastly damage and the extra damage to drones, but since the sound update for the m4a1 I’ve gone back to that, I also play the game realistically and have made military outfits to play with, so m4 works well for the aesthetics 👍🏻, and sounds beast without the suppressor, do also really like the 4ac and the 416 but always end up coming back to the m4
I use the m4 with peq 15 laser. I did not like the lasers in this game. Mawl da laser is the only daylight usable laser. Guess what I use a mod to change all the lasers like the mawl da green one. I nice itty bitty update
I run a silenced 416, a tac 50 and a silenced 1911. I prefer the panther class, I have tried all the classes but I think it's the best for my playstyle.

Do you have accuracy issues with the scorpio scout and the MSR? Most of the time they work great for me but every once in awhile they will start throwing shots really wide and completely miss the target.
This is a glitch that happens after you scope out through your drone....once you call the drone back you will notice the crosshairs are wider than normal...if you shoot now the gun will spray widely...all you will need to do is to move a little (even one- step) for the crosshairs to get back to normal and the gun won't spray.

For ASRs I’ve found the AK74 to be surprisingly good, but I almost exclusively use the ACR and AC-AR now. The G36C feels like a good replacement for a SMG while still benefitting from being an ASR. I’m not set on any DMR. If I’m using a DMR for longer ranges then the G28 is reliable. I tend to use the TAC-50 if I’m particularly sniping. For LMGs it depends on what I’m doing. Behemoth hunting? MG121 with extended mag. Just going loud in a base? L86A1 for 80 shots and a quick reload. I do enjoy the MP7 for the same reasons you mentioned, with the MPX pushing into ASR territory and the others being decent overall. For handguns, it depends. I haven’t been consistent, but I have enjoyed most of them. M9, M1911, USP, P45T, and P227 are in my regular rotation. Don’t really find shotguns all that useful or satisfying to use, unfortunately. With enemies dropping so fast I see a shotgun as a handicap. An SMG or ASR just always feels better as it’s more versatile, and I get get an under barrel shotgun on most ASR if I really want to.
Pre Video info: I exclusively use the G28 Scout if I need to be a little more all-rounder for a huge base and then the Wilderness every other time, for CQC its gotta be the MP7 and P227 for my pistol unless I'm fucking around Post Video Info: I'm doing well
Since the latest update, all enemy types have gotten a buff so pistols have been very limited, the 1911 remains king, even above the PT45. The M4A1 Tactical is probably the best AR since it's integrally suppressed so it's damage output can't be decreased. Currently it stands as the second highest damage per shot AR suppressed, next to the MK17. The M4A1 survival has the greatest balance between being highly modular and damage as it has the same output as the M4A1 but is performance is slightly better. The MK 18 honestly just looks cool but it suffers from low damage.
4:13 - the only draw back I see here is no M203 for 4-AC. Yet it goes with 416 Shorty, so here I find the mid ground. Not that I would use a lot of M203, but it's just perfect for those oncoming reinforcements, to get them out of the way before troops would deploy. Thank you for the video, I really like it. (edit: my favourite is 4-AC or 416 Shorty if I need M203 and P320 as a backup, since it has more rounds than 227 and still good stats).
You could try 4AC, mk14 with +30 range and accuracy with a under barrel grenade launcher and the handgun that give plus movement and reload speed. Have this setup on my panther and on echelon as one load out. The echelon seems to make less noise while running then the panther, kind of weird but I've noticed it in game. I really dislike the pistol lock on on echelon and wish it could be turned off.
I’ve tested almost all of them. The best ASR I’ve found for me is the 4-AC. It’s a laser. Between the damage and rate it’s worked well. If you’re playing Wildlands the MK18 without question.
I like the G28 Wilderness, the Honey Badger and the P227. Back from a long vacation from the game and playing it again and I did take the Scorpio Scout out of inventory and tried it. It still has the effect of throwing shots all over the map especially if you are prone. So retired it for good. Sometimes it works perfectly, sometimes it seems to miss and throw shots all over the place. Tried the Echelon Class this time and love it. For whatever reason stealth beats Panther and you also have much higher speed and mobility. No drone spray, however due to the aggravation of drones I have turned them off. If this was not available I simply would not play the game. Drones got so bad it became impossible to enjoy the game. I love Darkest Night and shooting at headlamps. Grin!! Poor fellers running about yelling, stop hiding in the dark........lol! Or I am going to find you asshole............lol! So you shoot one guy that is isolated on the far end of a base. No one sees you or his body, yet the entire base goes on alert, the radioman hiding inside yells for reinforcements and they know exactly where you are even though you are hiding inside the thickest bush in the game ........how do they do that?? In any event I just move to the other side of the base. Take one shot with a Sniper from 450 meters and they all hide and go on alert. Yep........The radioman yells for reinforcements and they go like bloodhounds to your spot. Fine just move and then shoot them. Do not use snipers anymore as that playstyle as it is not viable in this game. Nope not waiting ten minutes for them to stop hiding for each shot. Anyways I do like the G28, Honey Badger and 227 overall for all things and I play on immersive mode, solo only, I leave the teammates locked up at home. Great game it just has some quirks that do not make sense. Once you learn those and have them in your sack or knowledge, it is a wonderful game. Cheers Kit
For me I find the TAC-50 the best, most accurate, long range option. All the way out to 400+ meters it fires pretty straight. I use a suppressor, bipod, and the Tx5i scope. Consistent head shots all day. I run two mains with an assault rifle as that second weapon for short to medium range engagements. Not as mobile as SMGs for sure, but I prefer moving slow and steady. One shot to the brain pan and it's lights out for the other guy. Anything with a three round burst option is preferable to full auto. Three shot burst can take the helmet off of, and deliver the kill shot on, heavy machine gunners. My absolute go to is after you defeat Walker and unlock the Silver Stake Tactical. That thing hits like a truck and takes down anything with maximum reliability. Suppressor, angled foregrip, MAWL-DA laser, panoramic sight. I'm currently on a new play through and loving the M4A1 Tactical. Not as hard hitting as the Silver Stake Tactical (5.56 vs 7.62/.308), but it gets the job done. And for hand guns, they're kind of all the same for me. I clear everything with either/both of my two mains, so it rarely comes into play for me. But if I had to choose, the P227, any of the M1911 variants, and the FNFiveSeven and its variants are all excellent choices.

Yeah I totally agree with Donna, in THAT order: Main missions (yellow markers), next Side missions (Orange markers), and finally Faction missions (Green markers), and do them BEFORE you go to play other DLC. I have over 2,000 hours of game time, so I know a little bit about everything. As you play watch your "Classes" too, like Assault, Sniper, Panther, Medic classes, etc. There you have challenges than can level up these classes.

I know there is LOTS of things in this game that guys that have been playing it from the beginning probably do not think about when helping a new player? Like I said DON'T play all of the DLC content until you get familiar with the BASIC. You see a lot of the DLC came later, so in the beginning we ONLY had the basic game, and then later we got ONE DLC or update. Therefore we all got it gradually. Example the DLCs were spaced apart, like 3-6 months so we were ready for something new when they came out. some of the DLCs or parts of them may not be available because they were LIVE releases and some parts won't work now. Also what version of the game you got determines what extra content you get. Like some DLC is tied to the Yearly pass. I know the Division had content like that. For example the underground was not available to all players when it first came out unless you were a Season Pass holder. Any way if you need help you know where to go to now. I don't get online and see this stuff all day, usually only between 10 AM and 2 PM, other times I'm playing games or watching movies, etc.
after playing with the M4A1s (all of them), Im pretty much sold on them as my go to mid range weapons. On echelon/panther Im usually running the DMR, with its high fire rate of 950 the burst just becomes stupid effective at taking out armored enemies. As one burst easily drops a heavy on immersive. Sometimes I swap over to the tactical or assault varient, for some variety in aesthetics, or I need a underbarrel launcher for something. Atm Im playing around with handguns, I have been using Sam Fishers 5.7 for a while. Really getting to know what mobillity does, will affect how I use things going forward.
I personally use the SR-3M Scout for my main weapon because I finished the game and made a police like loadout, I chose the SR-3M because you would have a lot of them laying around after operation Motherland.
Delta load out gear. M4A1 tactical or 4AC. Quad tube nvg for a four man team. M1911 or m9 for the backup firearm. Teammates usually consist of one long range mostly DMR like m110, another battle rifle and an SMG. If it was possible I'd equip a teammate with an 4AC and a shotgun for breaching purposes. My m4a1 tactical set up runs a dual scope system, bipod just for the stability, apec laser sight, and the cqb stock. Big fan of the Pathfinder class. The predator drone comes handy in some cases along with the white phosphorus nvg setting, makes finding targets through thick brush and dark areas very easy
I know gear score isn't the preferred way of playing Breakpoint but the +30 mobility makes pretty much any weapon into a cqb beast! So if you're doing room clearing in co-op or just want to play tacticaly I would highly suggest using the mp7 with the +30 mobility! Also F2000 is the best _🇸🇮patriotism intensifies🇸🇮_
Normally I run a 416 silenced and no primary 2 and I run a max in 9 or 1911 but if I’m ever hunting a behemoth I’ll run a Mk 48 compact and will turn on secondary and run a grenade launcher. Dmr, I’ll always run a g28 or a m110.

Current loadout DMR - M110 best rifle i have ever used in breakpoint ASR - HK 416 easy to use great control and very useful in clearout bases when my m110 is out of rounds HDG - Beretta M9 30 rounds my personal favorite side arm IRL and honestly if i could use it for my only gun in the game i'd gladly do it
I love the m110. No gear score, one weapon slot. Finished spinter Cell act with it. If I need a nade tube, mk 14 brown gets it. Something about room clearing with a dmr is soo satisfying, since ur usually dead if u screw it up lol
Always been a pathfinder player to locate the guys i can pick off with the SR-1 or the M82 depending on how im feeling and if i wanna bother adjusting for the drop on the M82. When im done sniping ill pop down to clean up with the koblin, the 516 shorty was my go to before i did any raids
Newly added ACR in operation motherland is really decent for ARs Loaded is run with the most is: ACR + HTI + m1911 For normal distances For CQC fights: Vector + ACR or HTI depends + m1911
Picked the game up on sale and have been using tons of different ARs and they all feel more or less the same so i just use the m4a1 with it sounding the best
People sleeping on the scorpio scout. It’s the only dmr to my knowledge that shoots the .338 round. A little hard to use but heavy hitting and way faster than most sniper rifles
I rarely use SMGs, even for CQB, because in real life, they're obsolete. What can an SMG do that a tiny ASR carbine can't do better? NOTHING. With the introduction of more frequent body armor usage, using an SMG feels stupid. So for the sake of immersion, I run small carbines like the G36C, 4-AC, Mk. 18, Honey Badger, and AK Shorty in CQB.
best weapons video i have ever seen. most videos are just on one gun that the CC says is the "best" gun. but as you said there is not a lot of difference beyond gun type. so "best" is kind of redundant. I have been just trying differing guns and you can do well with any gun you just need to adjust your playstyle a bit.
Great game I just started yesterday. But dang games have gotten complicated. I been playing since 007. I miss the old days where you just pick up weapons as you go.
I've thinking about turning off gear level for a bit and since I don't play with it off a lot I don't have too much weapon blueprints, and since these weapons are quite easy to acquire this most definitely helped, thanks! And despite not looking the best, I do use short magazines for most of my weapons... apart from SMGs.
Once you level up to 250. I just turned it off. I can play the raid at that level. That's the only reason I had it on during my early play through. After 250. There's no real reason to have it on

Everyone has their favorites. Let me tell you mine and WHY. First let me tell you my experience: I currently have 1900 hours IN-GAME, and I played all 3 pre-releases - the Alpha, the locked Beta and the Open Beta so all together well over 2k hours of play. Also I am retired LEO and was SWAT Sniper. So I normally play Sniper, using only the TAC50 for the first year and a half. That is what I played MOST of the time. But after a while I got bored doing only that. So I started trying ALL of the weapons: ARs, DMRs, LMGs, SMGs and shotguns. Never liked the shotguns until recently when I ran across some challenges requiring I use the shotgun. I found a couple that worked REALLY GOOD. However, my favorites are with 'Two Primaries' - The Scorpio Scout and the - - - - - (will surprise you later). The Scorpio Scout is better than the TAC50, especially if you get the talents Accuracy plus Range with it. The Scorpio Scout is as deadly as the TAC50 but better because you can make really QUICK follow-up shots with it. It has saved my ass many times, like when you have a challenge to kill 3 in 3 seconds. That is very hard with the TAC50. NOW for my second Primary: I love the Honey Badger but there is another one NO ONE ever talks about! It is the "BullPup PDR SMG". Check it out, and compare the Specs/Stats with the Honey Badger, they are absolutely IDENTICAL. So for whatever reason you like the Honey Badger it all also applies to the BullPup PDR, no B.S. I can't say it is better and it looks ugly until you put a silencer on it because it is so short. In real life I would absolutely prefer the Honey Badger. Many say it is more of an assault rifle because it compares so close to them: it is usually more powerful than most SMGs, but it is also smaller, and lighter than most ARs, so it's also good for CQC (CQB). But I am talking about what I prefer IN THIS GAME. The BullPup is EQUAL to the Honey Badger but it is easier to come by. I am working to get LOTS of "Skill Points" to level up my "Weapons Mastery" as much as I can, so I run EVERYTHING I can that boosts my Skill Points. Consequently I run everything that is BLUE - all blue gear and all blue weapons. IF I could get a BLUE Honey Badger I would run it but I have NEVER gotten a Blue Honey Badger! Therefore, I run the "Blue BullPup PDR" and it works GREAT, as good as the Honey Badger, then add to that the Scorpio Scout then I have everything that I need - a Killing combination

For me, Honey badger SMG, suppressed with the green laser, G28 DMR, suppressed with green laser, and M1911 pistol suppressed. Covers pretty much all enemies...
1. Dmr - AUG scout 2. Sniper - M82 Class Sniper. Both weapons get a dmg boost and you do more dmg against drones. also recon enemys fast without your drone
I do reccomend using the assault class it has some down parts but the good part it adds more health and increases Asr Damage and also give the skill of the Assault Class it increases your aim and you can lit hipfire and it hits but only if you use the class skill of the Assault Class

i think the vector shorty is objectively better than the normal vector, it can also handle an underbarrel grenade launcher

Yes the Shorty Variants are mostly better, the M4A1 Shorty or the 416 Shorty are both really good for me.

Thats a game problem I think. Bullet drop is highly affected by just sitting in diferent sports...its really broken

Ive been using the P90 the entire 50hrs ive been playing. Love that gun, I use it any time I can in any game I play.
I just use the G28, srsly 15 rnd mag, insane close range capability, one shot at mid range, excellent shoulder fire, and an mp7

One shot to the brain pan and it's lights out for the other guy. Anything with a three round burst option is preferable to full auto. Three shot burst can take the helmet off of, and deliver the kill shot on, heavy machine gunners. My absolute go to is after you defeat Walker and unlock the Silver Stake Tactical. That thing hits like a truck and takes down anything with maximum reliability. Suppressor, angled foregrip, MAWL-DA laser, panoramic sight. I'm currently on a new play through and loving the M4A1 Tactical. Not as hard hitting as the Silver Stake Tactical (5.56 vs 7.62/.308), but it gets the job done. And for hand guns, they're kind of all the same for me. I clear everything with either/both of my two mains, so it rarely comes into play for me. But if I had to choose, the P227, any of the M1911 variants, and the FNFiveSeven and its variants are all excellent choices.

i recommend doing main misions first then side misions then dlcs
Yeah I totally agree with Donna, in THAT order: Main missions (yellow markers), next Side missions (Orange markers), and finally Faction missions (Green markers), and do them BEFORE you go to play other DLC.
I have over 2,000 hours of game time, so I know a little bit about everything.
As you play watch your "Classes" too, like Assault, Sniper, Panther, Medic classes, etc. There you have challenges than can level up these classes.

Like I said DON'T play all of the DLC content until you get familiar with the BASIC. You see a lot of the DLC came later, so in the beginning we ONLY had the basic game, and then later we got ONE DLC or update. Therefore we all got it gradually.
Example the DLCs were spaced apart, like 3-6 months so we were ready for something new when they came out. some of the DLCs or parts of them may not be available because they were LIVE releases and some parts won't work now. Also what version of the game you got determines what extra content you get. Like some DLC is tied to the Yearly pass. I know the Division had content like that. For example the underground was not available to all players when it first came out unless you were a Season Pass holder.
Any way if you need help you know where to go to now. I don't get online and see this stuff all day, usually only between 10 AM and 2 PM, other times I'm playing games or watching movies, etc.
the rifles you get from killing walker are pretty fun to use on single fire very loud without a sup and with a sup it sounds crisp or a mk18

after playing with the M4A1s (all of them), Im pretty much sold on them as my go to mid range weapons. On echelon/panther Im usually running the DMR, with its high fire rate of 950 the burst just becomes stupid effective at taking out armored enemies. As one burst easily drops a heavy on immersive. Sometimes I swap over to the tactical or assault varient, for some variety in aesthetics, or I need a underbarrel launcher for something. Atm Im playing around with handguns, I have been using Sam Fishers 5.7 for a while. Really getting to know what mobillity does, will affect how I use things going forward.
Should try out the acr it rocks and if you have weapon mastery you move fast and recoils is so low 🔥

I personally use the SR-3M Scout for my main weapon because I finished the game and made a police like loadout, I chose the SR-3M because you would have a lot of them laying around after operation Motherland.

Delta load out gear. M4A1 tactical or 4AC. Quad tube nvg for a four man team. M1911 or m9 for the backup firearm. Teammates usually consist of one long range mostly DMR like m110, another battle rifle and an SMG. If it was possible I'd equip a teammate with an 4AC and a shotgun for breaching purposes. My m4a1 tactical set up runs a dual scope system, bipod just for the stability, apec laser sight, and the cqb stock. Big fan of the Pathfinder class. The predator drone comes handy in some cases along with the white phosphorus nvg setting, makes finding targets through thick brush and dark areas very easy

I played the entire game with the Bren.
I know gear score isn't the preferred way of playing Breakpoint but the +30 mobility makes pretty much any weapon into a cqb beast! So if you're doing room clearing in co-op or just want to play tacticaly I would highly suggest using the mp7 with the +30 mobility!

Normally I run a 416 silenced and no primary 2 and I run a max in 9 or 1911 but if I’m ever hunting a behemoth I’ll run a Mk 48 compact and will turn on secondary and run a grenade launcher. Dmr, I’ll always run a g28 or a m110.
I hate that the blueprint page at the shop doesn’t show you stats on weapons.
Looking at this video again, would you switch the G28 Wilderness for the M110? What else may have changed since the launch of Operation Motherland? Just curious.
I prefer the 110 over the G28.

DMR - M110 best rifle i have ever used in breakpoint
ASR - HK 416 easy to use great control and very useful in clearout bases when my m110 is out of rounds
HDG - Beretta M9 30 rounds my personal favorite side arm IRL and honestly if i could use it for my only gun in the game i'd gladly do it
I love the m110. No gear score, one weapon slot. Finished spinter Cell act with it. If I need a nade tube, mk 14 brown gets it. Something about room clearing with a dmr is soo satisfying, since ur usually dead if u screw it up lol
Pro tip: every laxer shows a lot clearer on nvg’s on night vision mode
That’s the point of lasers… all lasers are designed for NV, maybe apart from the MAWL-DA, but even that is a lot better with NV.

Always been a pathfinder player to locate the guys i can pick off with the SR-1 or the M82 depending on how im feeling and if i wanna bother adjusting for the drop on the M82. When im done sniping ill pop down to clean up with the koblin, the 516 shorty was my go to before i did any raids
Newly added ACR in operation motherland is really decent for ARs

For normal distances
For CQC fights:
Vector + ACR or HTI depends + m1911
I've been using the UMP and the M4A1 assault, going perfectly
For dmr scorpio scout is very solid. Highest damage in class.

Picked the game up on sale and have been using tons of different ARs and they all feel more or less the same so i just use the m4a1 with it sounding the best
People sleeping on the scorpio scout. It’s the only dmr to my knowledge that shoots the .338 round. A little hard to use but heavy hitting and way faster than most sniper rifles
I loved the 553 and the scar eco 3 until I found out about the honey badger now it’s at level 3 and it doesn’t leave my side.
Mp7 is nasty. I was surprised at how good it is. Assualt rifles I really like the 416 special.
I rarely use SMGs, even for CQB, because in real life, they're obsolete. What can an SMG do that a tiny ASR carbine can't do better? NOTHING. With the introduction of more frequent body armor usage, using an SMG feels stupid. So for the sake of immersion, I run small carbines like the G36C, 4-AC, Mk. 18, Honey Badger, and AK Shorty in CQB.
I used Honey Badger. I think it is the best overall gun for CQC and MR
best weapons video i have ever seen. most videos are just on one gun that the CC says is the "best" gun. but as you said there is not a lot of difference beyond gun type. so "best" is kind of redundant. I have been just trying differing guns and you can do well with any gun you just need to adjust your playstyle a bit.

I've thinking about turning off gear level for a bit and since I don't play with it off a lot I don't have too much weapon blueprints, and since these weapons are quite easy to acquire this most definitely helped, thanks!
And despite not looking the best, I do use short magazines for most of my weapons... apart from SMGs.
Once you level up to 250. I just turned it off. I can play the raid at that level. That's the only reason I had it on during my early play through. After 250. There's no real reason to have it on

Everyone has their favorites. Let me tell you mine and WHY.
First let me tell you my experience: I currently have 1900 hours IN-GAME, and I played all 3 pre-releases - the Alpha, the locked Beta and the Open Beta so all together well over 2k hours of play. Also I am retired LEO and was SWAT Sniper. So I normally play Sniper, using only the TAC50 for the first year and a half. That is what I played MOST of the time. But after a while I got bored doing only that.
So I started trying ALL of the weapons: ARs, DMRs, LMGs, SMGs and shotguns. Never liked the shotguns until recently when I ran across some challenges requiring I use the shotgun. I found a couple that worked REALLY GOOD. However, my favorites are with 'Two Primaries' - The Scorpio Scout and the - - - - - (will surprise you later).
The Scorpio Scout is better than the TAC50, especially if you get the talents Accuracy plus Range with it. The Scorpio Scout is as deadly as the TAC50 but better because you can make really QUICK follow-up shots with it. It has saved my ass many times, like when you have a challenge to kill 3 in 3 seconds. That is very hard with the TAC50.
NOW for my second Primary: I love the Honey Badger but there is another one NO ONE ever talks about! It is the "BullPup PDR SMG". Check it out, and compare the Specs/Stats with the Honey Badger, they are absolutely IDENTICAL. So for whatever reason you like the Honey Badger it all also applies to the BullPup PDR, no B.S. I can't say it is better and it looks ugly until you put a silencer on it because it is so short.
In real life I would absolutely prefer the Honey Badger. Many say it is more of an assault rifle because it compares so close to them: it is usually more powerful than most SMGs, but it is also smaller, and lighter than most ARs, so it's also good for CQC (CQB). But I am talking about what I prefer IN THIS GAME. The BullPup is EQUAL to the Honey Badger but it is easier to come by.
I am working to get LOTS of "Skill Points" to level up my "Weapons Mastery" as much as I can, so I run EVERYTHING I can that boosts my Skill Points. Consequently I run everything that is BLUE - all blue gear and all blue weapons. IF I could get a BLUE Honey Badger I would run it but I have NEVER gotten a Blue Honey Badger! Therefore, I run the "Blue BullPup PDR" and it works GREAT, as good as the Honey Badger, then add to that the Scorpio Scout then I have everything that I need - a Killing combination

For me, Honey badger SMG, suppressed with the green laser, G28 DMR, suppressed with green laser, and M1911 pistol suppressed. Covers pretty much all enemies...

Class Sniper. Both weapons get a dmg boost and you do more dmg against drones.

I do reccomend using the assault class it has some down parts but the good part it adds more health and increases Asr Damage and also give the skill of the Assault Class it increases your aim and you can lit hipfire and it hits but only if you use the class skill of the Assault Class
