I've struggled with a gambling addiction since I was about I'm 33 now its tough I haven't done a bet for a year now it's hidden addiction people dont know what your going threw and here In Belfast it's lead to people committing suicide I hope mers can overcome his demons he's a top lad
Stay strong and don't give it an inch. Fill the void with something else. I've had problems chasing losses, not being able to watch a game without having money involved, taking loans out etc. You get to the point where you have to cut off all access, self exclude the accounts, either find a way to watch the games without having money involved or don't watch them at all. I too considered suicide at times due to that combined with other difficulties in life but it honestly is a controllable addiction if you take the first strong steps and don't relent. With the ease of access, constant sports and bombardment of adverts I think it'll get more and more rife. I think a good step would be a stepped up reality check feature where they constant message you with your losses, it's too easy to sweep it under the rug and have a 'fresh start' the next day. Not that I blame the companies as it's a solo battle. Thanks for speaking about addictions Tubes as it helps to normalise the conversation. Better to be a success story than a statistic, anyone reading this struggling - make yourself proud and plan a future you can believe in.
There are loads of golf pros telling you how to play golf, this however is what golf is about a good walk and a chat with your mates and sorting out the worlds problems, keep going it’s brilliant!

How far he brings the club back and loses is balance on his shot. But everyone is different you have to do what works for you. A true arsenal legend I wish we had him playing for us now.
Julian Dicks was a scratch golfer and Johnny Moncur played off 2 back in the day. Dicksie even turned pro and competed in a few golf tournaments. Great work and nice to Merse so at ease with himself and life 👍
