Cozy was the man!!
Mr. Colin "Cozy Powell" Trevor Flooks 😢
My first Black Sabbath concert on this tour. And I feel very privileged to have seen Cozy live 🤟
POWELL was a beast of a Drummer and ICONIC double bass 😁👍🏻
Thanks for posting this rarity. It’s setting me up for the ‘Forbidden’ remix in 2024. I have been waiting to buy Headless Cross,Tyr, Cross Purposes & Forbidden, ever since these Tony Martin-Black Sabbath re-releases were announced.
Cool song. Never heard it before.
Great job by the interviewer.
They often come off so stiff and awkward, but she seemed very comfortable and like a seasoned pro.
It also helped a lot that she seemed to actually know what she was talking about as well.
Cozy. The steadiest musician there was. Great drummer and awesome guy.
Aaah, I was at this show, and haven't seen this footage in almost 30 years!
Cozy powell grande batera!R.I.P
Oh my God... memories. 3:30 steamhammer arrives.. 3:32 engine start.... 3:38 runs! What a great song. God bless Sticksman! We´ll never forget you! My big big idol ... - saw that lineup on the Headless Cross tour in... ´89? And believe it or not, I kept the ticket and found it yesterday! Thanx Bob !👍
Cozy Powell RIP best drummer in the world Saw this tour in San Francisco in 1995, 3 years before Cozy car. Accident 😢😢😢
For the little babies on the comments section
Black Sabbath = Tony Iommi.
Thanks! Nice interview
I saw them on that tour when they played Philly.
It actually wasn’t a good show. They were on fire for some songs, but dragged through others. And they were booked for a 3,000 seater, but they had to move it to an 800 seater (the day before) due to low sales.
People were walking out saying that the only good thing about them was their drummer. Cozy put on a great set. RIP. They closed the night with “Paranoid” and ended on a high note. Of the Martin era songs, “Headless Cross” was the highlight.
Cozy, dude, wherever you are 🌈🌈🌈, the greatest drummer ever, YOU achieved the impossible with me - YOU made me a Sabbath fan!!! I mean I always liked Tony Iommi, but Sabbath was not my kind of thing. But then Cozy came up...
He had this tremendous ability to improve every bnd he has played with.
My God. I might like the later Black Sabbath stuff best. I LOVE the 1980's style of music. My mind is becoming more and more blown. Tony Martin....is/was cool!
Tony Iommi and Cozy Powell. Two men's men.
The best Sabbath era, with Tony Martin. For me was a crime put again Dio,big mistake.
Fase maravilhosa do Black Sabbath que só ganhar reconhecimento agora com o relançamento da era Tony Martin, Só perola sagrada
I saw them that night at the Roseland NYC
Cozy Powell speaks really fast 😂😂
Hahaha, he drove, played... and spoke VERY fast, indeed!!! (Or madly, quoting him). What a drummer, the best ever!!!!
If anyone wonders, the band Geezer formed with Burton C. Bell from Fear Factory were called GzR, or G/Z/R (short for, well you know) and they were kind of awesome and well worth checking out, especially the track "Drive Boy Shooting" is rather amazing. Also, very ironically they had a song called "Giving up the Ghost" directed and aimed at, well I think you can guess and infer that one as well ;)
Tyr = Masterpiece.
Colin "Cozy Powell" Trevor Flooks 😢
Geoffrey James Nicholls 😢
Anthony Philip Harford
Anthony Frank Iommi
Neil John Murray
A more laid back Sabbath before Tony was turned into Iommi, inventor of metal and only turned up in a suit thereon.
Tony Martin 🎉 best vocal of sabbath, but DIO is very impressive...
Saw this tour in Portland. I was on the barricade for Motörhead and Sabbath! Tiamat got booed off the stage.
Great times , Geff and Cozy wooowwww
That midlands accent... Ozzy, halford, tony, bill, geezer, Jeff Lynne... They all have it thick
Tony Martin was wearing the best tee shirt in the world !
Heavy metal on teen music TV, will never happen again.
Vanessa Warwick ❤️
Best shit BS ever did.......
9:13 Tony describes his singing as “verbal vomit”, maybe not the best description when promoting an album.
The cameraman is giving me motion sickness

Those boots😂😂😂
pops😂😂❌❌
Not their finest hour.
tonyだけはmetalを続けて欲しかった😂😂
BLACK SABBATH???
Yes, this is Black Sabbath.
vocal are too light😂😂
I love Sabbath but that was hard to watch
jeff beck similer
Ozzy, Butler, Iommi ,Ward.
The original and only true Black Sabbath.
Nope
@@Vorticy135 "Nope" the original line up not the true Black Sabbath. Are you on medication?
You seem to be needing medication if you think gatekeeping music is the way of life. Newsflash: music is subjective, bands evolve and move on. Let people enjoy what they enjoy.
@@TalentlessMusic91
Someones been on Wikipedia.
The way of life, what are you on about.
@@T--qn7zm Wikipedia? What are you even trying to say, lmao. I'm just stating facts. No reason to be all upset about it.
That’s not Black Sabbath that’s Tony Iommi band
Ya no doubt
Ozzy who?
Cozy Powell , Neil Murray 🤘🤘🤘🤘🤘🤘🤘🤘🤘🤘🤘🤘🤘
The '70's with Osbourne are sickeningly boring? I can't believe you even think that much less say it. Is your taste in music higher than everyone else's? Unbelievable.
they kept so raw that it sounds like demo stuff, it looked like nobody really cared for that band anymore
Grunge destroyed this genre of music.
And thank God cuz this is an abortion and never should have carried the Sabbath banner.
Grunge itself was pretty much dead by the time this aired, 95 was pop punk, industrial and nu metal.
Bald lead singer does not fit the role for Sabbath regardless of his vocal talents.
ahahaha brootal!
Grade 1 tosser..you prefer all the shite 80s talentless hair metal bands?
Come on Rob Halford Phil Anselamo Geoff Tate seems to me bald means power
NOT LIKE BLACK SABATH😂😂
They made some godawful music in this era. "the world is turning, forever yearning"? Yikes that is some corny shit
That song was the worst song to release as a video and easily one of their worst.
So weird watching this. Great musicians and they sounded killer live but... is it Sabbath?
No.
Who are you to say this is not Sabbath? LMAO
It is Black Sabbath
Omg that sounded cheesy and bad. Everything I hated about heavy metal
An Illusion of Power video and first single would have been great. 🥲
Cozy Powell , Neil Murray great musicians 🤘🤘🤘🤘🤘🤘🤘🤘🤘🤘🤘🤘🤘🤘🤘🤘🤘🤘
