    I’m sorry you guys did not like the overview of the boxes, to me, presentation of the packaging, and the product inside the packaging is key. I will be sure not to have the duration so long in future videos. Thank you so much for the support and feedback!

    Great video! If I was to say one thing it's to skip the 5 minutes on the box - we all love some box but that's not what people generally watch these for. Thanks!

    The MM700 size is a pro to me, with it being so stable with this size and a heavy keyboard securing it even further, I can finally use so much space on the mat without worrying it might move, happens sometimes with normal size mats on my desk and it makes me not want to move the mouse too much.
    I am also a big fan of that Corsair logo, but don't see it with the KB on it.

    :0, I liked the corsair I liked how it had more options to color and the detachable port, although it was big and 70$. The razor was smaller and less expensive but a bit more flimsy and stuff. so I'd go with razor if I'm cheap, or the corsair if I have more to spend

    Nice video. Can you say something about the deformations. Cause I use the Razer Goliathus Extended for a long time and got slight deformations just by using it. Now after washing it, it has hefty deformations which seems to be "normal" for Razer as they have a support article including a video of it and there are also other videos from other people on TH-cam.
    Is it just with the Razer mousepad or is it also the same for Corsair or in general every RGB big-brand mousepad?

    • @RTC1200
      @RTC1200  2 ปีที่แล้ว

      I feel like it’s because the mouse pads are cloth, over time they’ll fray or deform or shrink, I don’t know. But I had to throw away my mm700 because the lights stopped working. My Razer Goliathus still works just fine.

    • @MattRothtauscher
      @MattRothtauscher 2 ปีที่แล้ว

      @@RTC1200 Thanks for your answer and sad to here :( I'll buy an mm700 soon to replace my goliathus hope it lasts long. Currently I've put a couple of really heavy books on my Goliathus to see if it gets a better shape. If I notice the MM700 has the same problem then I'll probably forget about cloth mousepads.

    • @RTC1200
      @RTC1200  2 ปีที่แล้ว

      @@MattRothtauscher No worries! Completely your choice. I’m my opinion the mm700 is an amazing choice, USB-C Connection, addressable 3 Zone lighting, two extra USB ports, just mine didn’t last too long. Maybe yours will!

    • @katarn109
      @katarn109 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      Got the MM700 and it seems to have a design problem. The fiber optic strip that goes around the pad is smaller than it needs to be flat on the table. In addition to that you get deformities over time and the fiber optic just disconnects from the RGB controller making the whole thing just and extremely expensive USB hub.

  • @TheRealTimpa

    Ngl im kinda dissapointed in how bad the rgb mousemats razer have compared to their other rgb products. The goliathus only has one lightning zone and the firefly v2 that has 12 is really small and its only available in hard material. Yes the firefly v1 is in soft material but its still small and the rgb is really weak. It also has less light zones than the v2

    i've had my Goliathius Extended Chroma for the past 4 years.
    i have to admit, its absolute garbage.
    the biggest issue with all of these RGB mousepads is that they are impossible to clean because of the electronics board being non-detachable.
    this is such a dumb design, and could've easily been avoided tbh.
    the LED's are basically inside of the plastic box anyway, these manufacturers could've easily made them detachable and then these mousepads could've been washer friendly...
    so because these mousepads are not really washable per say, they degrade exceptionally quickly, and since they are all based on cloth they also catch up a ton of dust particles which are impossible to remove.
    however a main annoyance i've been experiencing with this shitty mousepad is that it was designed extremely poorly, and i guess most of these type of RGB mousepads are designed similarly.
    what i mean by that, is that the clear plastic light guide is held too tightly to the mousepad fabric, which as a result will cause at the very least some of your mousepad to lift, and in the worst case scenarios a huge chunk of your mousepad to lift.
    this has been such an annoyance, and not only that. even after you extensively play around with the shitty light guide and manage to put it back in its place and get the mousepad somewhat flat again, the light guide will over time shrink and bend up your mousepad again.
    like i said, i've had this mousepad for the past 4 years, and it has been an annoyance to use on a near daily basis after owning it for around 3 months.
    the only reason i'm still using it is because i really like the way it looks.
    but on one hand my frustration from it makes me want to get rid of it and just get a normal extended mousepad like the MM350 from Corsair or the QcK from Steelseries, but on the other hand i just really like the aesthetic of the light surrounding my mousepad.
    this is truly a shitty situation to be in.
    additionally, Razer's software is pure dogshit, and i would never buy another Razer product ever again because of it - absolutely shitty software.
