It's really fun when you apply the context of Calamari Inkantation, which of course follows this track, being derived from a festival song that praises the bounty of the sea. And now Mr. Grizz has gone full-on “I WILL NOT BE DENIED MY VICTORY!” Could the lyrical adaptation of the showdown between him and Largefry be in the works?
Love this cover of Mr. Grizz's theme! While I thought it would be better suited if his voice were a little more calm and methodical, like a businessman, this rocks as well, with him getting more angry as it progresses being quite good too.
I finally got why this song unsettles me (in a good way). Mr. Grizz is not only trying to kill you, he's trying to sell you his apocalypse. He advertises it as a vacation. He tries to justify it in any way possible. And that's fucking creepy.
I honestly like how at the beginning of the song Grizz was pretty much brimming with confidence that his victory was assured and that all he had to do was just take out Agent 3 and be done with it and achieve his goal but as the time goes on he starts to lose his composure as Agent 3 is actually hurting him but also becoming a literal thorn in his side and by the time the third phase begins he's just losing it because everything he worked for years is about to be put to an end and he loses his temper (which considering he's a bear would not take much to do so) and no longer talks in his usual business jargon and shows straight malice that has been built up for twelve thousand years and he literally putting all the chips down on the table and go all out. Idk if your going to do Calamari Inkantation 3mix but still this song still a banger despite the music itself being a bit slow of a build-up but the way it picks up later down the road is a treat. Awesome job Juno.
I love how this perfectly captures the menacing nature of Mr Grizz The way you deliver these lines just goes to show how terrifying it must be to have this almost alien creature invade and begin to plot the world's destruction. To the Inklings he must be a nightmare, and you've conveyed that perfectly with your delivery and the lyrics themselves. Amazing job edit (3/8/24) RAHHHH I LOVE THIS COVERRRR 🔥🔥🔥🔥 GRIZZCO SHALL NEVER FALLL 🔥🔥🔥🔥
"And reawaken memories if mammalkind!" The sad part of this is they technically never left accoridng yo the lore wnd Mr. Girsszz was so caught up in dispair that he couldn't think of a way to jsut sinply coexist eith the new life.
I’m not sure if the off-rhythm singing was intentional or not (seeing how the song gets kind of off-time), but I’m glad that you soon managed to reclaim the timing right after. it could hint of impatience on Grizz’s pov lol! I completely understand accidentally singing too fast and had to slow down 😂
I feel kind of bad for grizz in the game because he was put into a world where none of his kind were to be found. Since we see him floating in space in the credits I think he might return. In the meantime, lil Judd is running Grizzco, which is funny because hes one of the only other mammals to exist. Which also makes me laugh about lil Judd siting at a desk with a giant ass bear for a job application.

octavious was power hungry, tartar was well.......tartar, but Mr.Grizz just wanted his home back i feel sorry him. HE DESERVES REDEMPTION WHO'S WITH ME?!
Grizz's voice is not quite what i imaginned i immagined him speaking in a very low pitch (but not too low), and also the way he speak would have sounded a little bit more like a robot than a human. Also why does he speak THIS FAST?!!!
I love your voice for him, but I feel that in the initial cutscene before the song, he speaks a little too fast. I like to imagine he's a slower talker. Nevertheless, wonderful cover as always!
“Anomaly Showdown” is a provisional conjectural name used by one OST uploader who did not want to spoil Mr. Grizz as the main antagonist of Splatoon 3, which became the community name for the song.
Now,to the wait for the next great song, but seriously, there where many references and Mr.Grizz listing up what sea creatures are mainly under the evolved ones was really good

I REALLY hope there’s a part two to this
Love this cover of Mr.
"humanoid squid with a gun fights racist mutant businessman bear in space to stop him from commiting genocide"
Ok who the fuck came up with this game
The same people who produced Animal Crossing
@@Flarree_LOL, funni animal game to funni squid game (+ extra disturbing squid lore)
"See that planet of happy workers?"
*splatfest ptsd*
I don't know what voice I was expecting for Mr. Grizz, but I really like that it fits.
I love all the puns and buisness talk, and how you displayed how hurt he is
I love how this perfectly captures the menacing nature of Mr Grizz
The way you deliver these lines just goes to show how terrifying it must be to have this almost alien creature invade and begin to plot the world's destruction.
To the Inklings he must be a nightmare, and you've conveyed that perfectly with your delivery and the lyrics themselves.
Amazing job
edit (3/8/24) RAHHHH I LOVE THIS COVERRRR 🔥🔥🔥🔥 GRIZZCO SHALL NEVER FALLL 🔥🔥🔥🔥
But it also has tragedy to it because he is anything but alien and was a normal grizzly bear once
Well Damn… That was AWESOME!!!
I love this song!!! Keep up the great work Juno!
This is kinda horror to me, but it is still good that it represents wrath.
Stay hydrated.
This is a threat.

4:08 you did NOT need to go so hard for this part but tHANK YOU SO MUCH FOR DOING SO
"And reawaken memories if mammalkind!"
The sad part of this is they technically never left accoridng yo the lore wnd Mr. Girsszz was so caught up in dispair that he couldn't think of a way to jsut sinply coexist eith the new life.
@delta_craft685 Well yeah but what I was trying to say that they were always there but Grizz unfortunately couldn't see it due to grief.
As of viewing this footage, this is definitely in accordance to GRIZZCO’s values.
How are you the CEO yet not know the company name
@@BeegcatI been drifting in space for weeks
I’m not sure if the off-rhythm singing was intentional or not (seeing how the song gets kind of off-time), but I’m glad that you soon managed to reclaim the timing right after. it could hint of impatience on Grizz’s pov lol! I completely understand accidentally singing too fast and had to slow down 😂
saw the title and instantly clicked. masterfully done juno!
Love the cover art as much as the video. Amazing job 👌
Lord above I love how intense it gets as it goes on, ace stuff Juno
I feel kind of bad for grizz in the game because he was put into a world where none of his kind were to be found. Since we see him floating in space in the credits I think he might return. In the meantime, lil Judd is running Grizzco, which is funny because hes one of the only other mammals to exist. Which also makes me laugh about lil Judd siting at a desk with a giant ass bear for a job application.
3:26 POV: Me when I get homework for the weekend, but was planning on playing video games all day
THIS IS AMAZING??? I love what you did with the song!
Props for doing a song with just an odd beat to it, I couldn’t imagine coming up with lyrics that sound on beat for this song but you did it!
IT MAY HAVE BEEN PRIVATED AND UNDER MY APPLE NOTIFICATIONS BUT I WAS ECSTATIC TO KNOW THIS WHAT WAS COMING AND NOW ITS HERE FOR REAL HALLELUJAH
Honestly these lyrics realize just how badly he wishes to be along other mammals again
Love the constant "you can't comprehend my goals" combined with business jargon lol.
Awesome song, Juno. And one of the best BGMs in Splatoon ever.
Just gotta say, love the fact that you used an actual Grizzly Bear growl/roar. It's a good detail.
Imagine you were writing a song for a splatoon boss fight (bear with me) and then the boss came to life and the only way you could send word of help was via encoded message (BEAR WITH ME)
I didn't think this was a song that needed lyrics but honestly these are so good
Very well done, including so many job related phrases.
I want to hear the OG, because this cover is insane. Good job, as always.
octavious was power hungry, tartar was well.......tartar, but Mr.Grizz just wanted his home back i feel sorry him. HE DESERVES REDEMPTION WHO'S WITH ME?!
Me!
MII (haha Nintendo)
HECK YEA!!!
He should crash down like a meteorite early in splatoon four and help with logistics and actually getting the agents paid
You changed the title! Dedication!
That’s the kind of performance Mr. Grizz likes to see
I was waiting a while for this! Its awesome!
So when is Calamari incantation 3Mix
Hopefully enough people are interested in more Splatoon 3 stuff for it to be worth putting together all the work for Calamari Inkantation 3Mix!
👍
it has returned
thank you small "little buddy" fry from splatoon 3
Grizz's voice is not quite what i imaginned
i immagined him speaking in a very low pitch (but not too low), and also the way he speak would have sounded a little bit more like a robot than a human.
Also why does he speak THIS FAST?!!!
Well I can’t be expected to know how every single person on Earth interprets Mr. Grizz’s voice, so all I can really say is “you get what you get”
@@JunoSongs true, besides this and Kirby’s voice in « the star conquering traveler » I think all of your voices fit their characters
@@garsrandom4358 in the entire playtrough i imagine him to sound like ice bear from we bare bear but sound more aggressive
I love your voice for him, but I feel that in the initial cutscene before the song, he speaks a little too fast. I like to imagine he's a slower talker. Nevertheless, wonderful cover as always!
the cadence I used for him is inspired by J Jonah Jameson which I understand several people might not agree with, but this is just my interpretation

@@JunoSongs “89 golden eggs? I’ll pay you 200 coins. Seems fair”
I loved when inkling/octoling kid said "it's inking time" and inked all over mr.grizz's rocket
3:37 is where it gets to the best part
I do actually believe it’s called Anomaly Showdown.
Regardless, love it, Juno!
“Anomaly Showdown” is a provisional conjectural name used by one OST uploader who did not want to spoil Mr. Grizz as the main antagonist of Splatoon 3, which became the community name for the song.
Now,to the wait for the next great song, but seriously, there where many references and Mr.Grizz listing up what sea creatures are mainly under the evolved ones was really good
I believe part 2 would be the Calamari Inkantation 3MIX with lyrics.
Cool song! I never played splatoon 3 but the game looks amazing! Good job :)
Was quietly hoping Juno would share my factually correct headcannon that Grizz has the same accent as Anime Dedede, but this is fuckin' fantastic all the same!
“I need an octarian to clobber that there inkling”
This song is so cool to translate in french (with proper rhymes) I'm only at "phase 2" for now but it's a blast , thanks Juno !
I'm gonna say this how Grizz would say about his eggs
"I NEED MOREEEEEEEEE"
