    Dynamic training with Compex has always been harder to explain for the beginner but you make it very clear. Thanks.

    compex for pull ups? have suggestions?

    • @CompexAcademy
      @CompexAcademy  10 หลายเดือนก่อน

      It’s possible for all muscle, but you have to consider the contraction times. I prefer resistance program, because you have 6 sec of contraction and 6 sec of relaxation (rest) time. So, you jump- pull up 1-2x (depending how fast you are)-jump off and rest - jump - pull 1-2x - rest- jump - pull 1-2 times- rest - etc. Tip: put the contraction sound on so you know when to jump before contraction starts. It requires some timing but you will manage very quickly 😀

    In some programs there are different cycles. When do you move on to the next cycle? After your “compex off week” or longer?

      Always after the Compex off week you move to the next cycle. Is there a specific program you are refering to?

    Which program in the muscle building category has the longest contraction time?

    • @CompexAcademy

      The endurance program for endurance improvement and resistance program for strength improvement are having the longest contraction time.

    Very good explanation, but which settings I have to change for the mi? MI Action on, for exampel?

    • @CompexAcademy
      @CompexAcademy  4 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      It depends on which mi functions you want to use. I made a specific video of mi functions if you need more info about that. I should always start with only Mi-(auto)range on and all other mi functions off.

    Your Videos are very helpfull, thanks ! In the Stativ Video was your explanation, That there are no benefits in the dynamic movements?

    • @CompexAcademy
      @CompexAcademy  3 ปีที่แล้ว

      There are benefits with dynamic movements, but be aware that it's very heavy and that it's for advanced compex users. Can you be more specific about the part where I talk about that? Maybe you can mention the min/sec. Than I can reflect to you in more detail.

      Take a look at this video: th-cam.com/video/T9MegFxK6Cw/w-d-xo.html
      It's a connection failure: from 2min32. I think when you change to new electrodes it will be solved (most of the times).

      @@CompexAcademy I check you video but it seems skin resistance but the device is too sensitive. I feel the device is useless because I can not use it almost anyway in the points I am interested. For example plantar fasciitis. Maybe hard but can you recommend a solution to this exempt changing the eletrodes positions ?

    • @CompexAcademy
      @CompexAcademy  4 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      @@stdjmax Changing electrodes can be also a bit to left or right. You only need to stick them on the muscles you want to stimulate. With Fasciitis plantaris, what's your goal? The cause is difficult to treat, but symptoms (like pain relief or improve blood flow for repair) ca be treated with Compex use. Use muscle pain / TENS program for pain relief (personally I prefer muscle pain) and capillarization for improve blood flow. Hi Felice, if you go to the playlist on this channel, you'll see static and dynamic exercise examples for some main muscle groups.

    I am looking at the SP8.0. Is 1 module two nodes connected by a wire or is that two modules? I am trying to work out if I could work on both quads with 4 modules

    • @CompexAcademy
      @CompexAcademy  3 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      1 Module is indeed 2 nods connected with a cable together. You have 4 channels / modules, so you can stimulate 4 muscle groups at the same time. Yes, you can use 4 channels/modules to work on both quads.

    How would adding resistance (weight) affect training?

    • @CompexAcademy
      @CompexAcademy  3 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      Hello Hannu, adding resistance (weight) is having no extra effect on the muscle. The exercise is getting more unsafe by adding resistance, because after the contraction phase with muscle stim, you'll get into the relaxation phase and the muscle contraction falls away. When you than have a huge resistance of weights, you can harm the muscle and yourself. Adding light weights or resistance is only useful for the exercise technique or coordination. Because you already select the correct muscle fibers with the current of the machine you don't have to use weights. In weight training weights are used to select the correct muscle fiber to be active (firing from the brain). So, loading weights with muscle stim doesn't bring any added value on firing on the correct muscle fiber and is also unsafe for exercised execution. Basically I always say don't load weight or extra resistance during muscle stim exercise. And if you want too, because you are used to have weights in your hands during exercise, than use very light ones. I hope this is the answer you are looking for.

      @@CompexAcademy Thanks - I did not realize that the danger is during relaxation phase. I was worried about excentric phase when for example squating with high intensity. Point taken!
