Absolutely nailed Midnight Rider. Wow! On my drive home from the office, I was so inspired listening to this that I cut my $50 Dockers pants off into shorts...lol. Great performance.

Other concert ,you can imitate "Wild Horses" by the Rolling Stones but not change it to make it your own. So I thought as Billy started it....guess no one ever told Billy that, he friggin stole it.
I agree. I am blewn away. I am a musician myself but have not had inspiration for years due to how much the music industry sucks. I am starting to get inspired again. Billy Strings is more than bluegrass. Bluegrass isn't even the music i usually enjoy listening to. What is happening. He is something else than everything out there. I wish i fiund his music earlier but i am glad i found it today.

I'm 68 and I grew up listening & singing along with & dancing to the great bands and musicians of the 50's, 60's, and 70's; and especially to the great jamming sessions ( psychedelic if you want to call it that...and that's okay by me ! ) , but what I just heard from Billy Strings and the other musicians here is every bit as good and probably even better in some ways, to those fantastic jamming sessions from those earlier years !! It was incredible..WOW..WOW..!!!
Grateful Dead started as a Country/Blue Grass type band. I like the adventurous road these lads are heading down. It ain’t Bill Monroe, but I love the legit Blue Grass chops, and I love the dynamics they are putting in, up there. Respect

Billy is good, but I don't understand this big push he is getting right now. I've definitely heard better singers and pickers but for some reason they don't get the attention. Must be his silly glasses.

I watched a Michael Palmisano vid appreciating Billy and he explained how you need to understand how everyone shares distributed percussion in bluegrass. It raised my enjoyment of this wonderful genre. Definitely a banjo tabla in there! Love the communications. All four just top notch. Great sound and filming too. Thankyou. Been wearing out the Austin vid. This will take over. I keep playing their Loser and Wharf Rat vids too. Can't listen much to anyone else at the moment. Legend in the making.

Growing up in the nineties was great. However, when looking back at the 70's music scene I always felt that I missed out on the best that ever was. Billy, bluegrass, jam and the new revival of amazing music has been awesome. We lucky.🤘

I’ve been busy telling everyone I know how good these guys are. They came up as I was testing my playlist for my current project Celtic Tiger - my autobiography in music. I wonder how many people clicked for a few moments and thought… “Cool, some bluegrass”, and moved on. Not realizing that this concert evolves into an amazing spectacle of Prog-rock, rockabilly, tight jam band (a la Grateful Dead/Phish) , jazz, experimental Americana and an explosion of pure improvisational virtuosic mysticism. I love how the crowd size gets bigger and bigger by the end of their set. I’ve been to festivals like this, and I can just imagine myself being there. You always know that there’s something special on the main stage wafting around the place, and it draws you and everyone else at the festival in.
Just the smile on his face as he plays 👌 always better listing to music people had fun making and how just in tune with the sounds he is at his age is mad impressive
A stellar BS performance....I was really pulled into the music listening on new awesome Sony WF=SP800N earbuds. Of course the 3 primary string players had killer presence in their masterful playing., but that doghouse bass really pinned it down and I was blown over. This concert is a diamond.
I love the chord progression in Turmoil & Tinfoil. Man, these guys are tight! Reminds me of a group called River Run in which Glenn Alexander used to play the fiddle.
I was there it was 108 degrees😂 to hot to jump around probably die from heat stroke. Billy came on stage the jeans and ended up cutting them himself while setting up.
Came to this since I love Bob Weir and the Grateful Dead and Billy played with Weir 💀. So amazing to hear this gem of a bluegrass band!! I’m in love with this music 🎶❤️🎸

As amazing as Billy is, he's in damn good company - each band member is an absolute monster on their axe. A truly amazing unit!
