608K views... I'm pretty sure at least 250K of those are from me watching this video over and over and over. Billy has to be one of the most captivating performers of his generation among any genre and this video shows why. So great, so much fun, so much enthusiasm and respect among the musicians. Mighty fine, indeed.

How the hell they survived that dueling solo battle and fell back into the song at the end I don't know but it seems extra terrestrial other worldly type of shit that that went off without a hitch

Billy has the stage presence of Thile. He's breaking ground much like NGR did back in the early 70's. Love his traditional and new styles. He has a future for sure.

I have replayed this intro like 30 times in a row--i love how brian and billy are feeling each other out in the beginning, they start the song and they are clearly having fun. billy hits that bend at 31 seconds and brian fuckin SWOONS look at him lol. probly both at the stage presense and musicianship. Billy is hamming it up playing a fill ends it on some random harmonic 7th note or chord---Brian laughs because it doesnt seem like he was expecting it and he was having a blast up there. hearing brian laugh makes billy laugh too--brian laughs more, billy failing laughs, the crowd laughs, i laugh, you guys laugh, and the magic is carried throughout the entire song. THAT is chemistry on stage.

6:10 - heavy metal Billy. I went to college (in the 70s) with guys who had that same look in their eyes that Billy F. gets when he's taking his breaks on the banjo. Like, 'We gonna do this or not, dude?'
