Thanks buddy - I'm not sure if the K&N filters are better or not? Perhaps they would/should be as they are more expensive. That said, and for general road use, I don't think the extra ££ is warranted. Providing you service the bike regularly, there shouldn't be an issue.
That's interesting as I've been doing my own servicing on cars, bikes, vans, etc. for decades now, and never once have I filled up with new oil before the filter was fitted 🤔 Thanks for watching and taking the time to comment 👍

Your supposed to put the oil in before you put your filter on....That's what the owner's manual says
