As someone who uses the HR-V, I say that when you stop the vehicle and drive away, the doors do not automatically lock. This feature is even available in Megane 4.
The new sleeker version is complete change of look which will look good for many years to come. Magic seat is a win down better than some premium suv which is big but not practical.
I beg to differ due to new vezel has a rear magic seat which is key winner of this suv range..plus if daily need to use max of 400l boot space might as well drive a cargo van.
Couldn't agree more. Very disappointed with Kah Motor for screwing up the infotainment system of HRV Singapore model. Can't even control volume on the steering wheel. Have to look for the tiny buttons below the screen while driving - poor safety feature. Not to mention the huge pop out screen. The hands free mic is not integrated with the middle rear mirror console, it is an add on, adhesive on the inner wind screen above the driver.
It does look beautiful but it is much more lower than the previous model. I still own the previous model. The problem is that we can't carry taller people inside. This new model should have been taller & wider.
Previously 2021 parallel imports VEZEL has more airbags & more features than HR-V, will VEZEL 2022 still be more worthwhile than 2022 HR-V this time round ?
The Civic is slightly larger so if you want three proper adults they would be more comfortable there, though have slightly less headroom in the bargain.
big drawback on the new design. first is its height which is much lowered. 2nd is the opening of the rear passenger is smaller, thus making it hard to move things into the rear or using the flip up seat. 3rd is that the rear passenger will have issue with the headroom. Fourth is the driver vision is limited at the front, toddler will get ram easily. Fifth is the infotainment system, that is thr biggest drawback. Such a nice car and a cheap looking trash infotainment. At least a 13" screen would make it look much better. The previous HRV was a better vehicle.

The hatch back style is what killed it for me. The round end of my current HRV allows for much more space. It’s an awesome front design!
Yeah the boot space is around 300 litres which isn't excellent for a small SUV, down from around 400 before

Yes, a well-known drawback of the HR-V is the lack of headroom especially for the rear.

Negative: interior pretty plasticky. Civic in contrast has much better interior quality. The road noise is quite loud.
