fairies were like nature personfied choatic naive and cruel but rarely truly evil similar to YOKAI in japanese mythology.
djinn and demons are universially depicted as evil capircious beings who choose to take joy in making mortals suffer despite having so much power an dknowledge.
Genies are to Muslims what cucumbers are to cats. I know a lot of Muslims personally and the more Arabic they are the more they fear the Jinn.

Oh, this is the new mutation of "a wizard did it".
"You're a Djinn, Haruman!"
You know, I read something in an anthropology class many years ago about some African tribe that whenever something bad happened, they believed it was because of witchcraft.
@@N0sf3r4tuR1s3nIt's perfectly unfalsifiable too, because they'll say we can't prove a djinn did NOT do it.
Oh this is good to put towards our meme pantheon.
This reminds me of something out of an Aladdin panto. XD
Abanazar: "I need your son's help to find the magic lamp!"
Widow Twanky: "What's so special about a lamp?"
Abanazar: "When you rub it, something magical happens."
Widow Twanky: "Oh yes! I have something similar... [winks at audience]."
You are a wizard, Harry!
Insane in the Djinn Brain...

😂👏👏👏👏👏
I visited a muslim friend of mine along with my dog. When we arrived this saucepan fell off the draining board. My friend said he was being pestered by a naughty Jinn. He picked up the pan, scolded the jinn and my visit continued as before. They're everywhere - some naughty and some nice.
Run run as fast as you can, you can’t catch me I’m the Djinn-derbread man
_Law & Order: Anti-Witchcraft Unit_
Wasn't that just the first episode of "Agatha All Along"?
I'd watch it!
that would just be the law and order crew arresting people who get angry at the local witchburnings.
“Witch” Hunt 2.0. Meant to drive freethinkers and herbalists underground.
i made several djinn animations but they are 1001 nights type mythical djinns i never realised it had this double meaning
djinn were always wish granting DEMONS that why even in aladin they mentioned "having to be very specific with what you wish for" because genies were always looking to twist your words for the worst result possible.
I met a women in America who was maybe in her 50s. We were talking about an uptick in rabies in our county and she said "Yeah, this damn weather is helping the bees." Confused I asked her what she meant by that in this situation. This women was taught growing up that rabies is transferred, initially, by bumble bee stings. She was very surprised when I was explaining the actual vectors for it's transmission but it just made me realise how someone could be so mislead in their life and as long as it never comes up, it just is what it is.
In fairness, "rabies" does have "bees" in its pronunciation, so you could make a connection.

It's like believing in trolls (humanoid fairies with magical, spiritual properties) and putting them down to all your misfortune.
If you don't piss them off, they won't mess with you. You know that right?
Yet another method of avoiding responsibility.
Troll is from the Dutch word for what we call Ogres in English. Fairies are an entirely different folk creature.
@@14Anon2 Fairies include ogres/trolls.

when your world view is "It is always their fault" then the world is kind of magical. nothing that you did causes anything. it is always being done to you, without your consent. Magic, Destiny, Karma, Satan, God's will. Having nothing you do cause harm or inconvenience is truly a "bless your heart" kind od thinking
Is it soap or deodorant? That seems to be their biggest fear
Yes

We can laugh at the Djinns - and we should - but many in our culture is currently trying to work out if it can magic from being a man to a woman

I get why you think it's absurd and completely unnecessary, so why is the UK still like "MORE PLEASE!" ?
