    remember people.... no personal offense to Zoe 💕 - remember she is NOT a nutritionist. she can ONLY go off of her own experience and what she's read. knowledge you can get too. she is not a know all - so please stop asking her all these questions on YOUR personal weight loss. if you are young, and all you care about is weight, i can understand why you find these videos appealing. especially coming from a woman who herself is very thin. - no offense about that either. But we all know how an ED mind works. we see someone tiny, and we hear what they do or advise - and we obsess. please take CARE of your health. eat veggies. fruit. meat if you want. healthy carbs. drink water. take vitamins and do some exercise YOU want. give your body enough hours to digest and don't snack too much everyday, but also allow yourself to snack some days. extremes are easy - *balance* is hard - but it is the ONLY way to healthy hormones and a healthy mind.

      Right but this needs to become common knowledge.
      Before the panini i had ruined my metabolism and worsened it by thinking the same thing: “I’m gaining weight, I need to eat less.” Had I had this info I wouldn’t have hurt my metabolism so much. Should I have gone to a dietitian or a personal trainer?? Sure! But I figure skate and I was working with trainers and professionals already who ALSO did not have this info and so there you have it.
      This needs to become common knowledge.

      Right cus especially cus people need to remember that every body height also depends on how the weight looks. 145 on me make me look pretty slim outside of my other parts of my body that just very developed. Meanwhile 150 for someone shorter like 5'5 can be different since I'm tall

    Exactly! Weight doesn’t reflect the body composition. I’ve been exercising for a couple months and my weight doesn’t go down but I feel a lot more energised and like I’m getting stronger. If all I cared about was what the scale says I would’ve been so frustrated to the point where I could’ve stopped exercising altogether cuz “what’s the point, it doesn’t work”. Thank you so much for all the information you give us, I learned a lot 💘

      It’s want vs need. She’s essentially saying it’s not a need to stay skinny. You shouldn’t be forced to starve yourself to achieve a certain look - aka you don’t NEED TO.
      But if you’ve come to a point where you want to feel more attractive, WANT to look a certain way for your own happiness, that’s valid as well. Let be honest a thin look has always been traditionally beautiful.

    For everyone:
    1. You also NEED to drink enough. Without water your body can't burn FAT. Try to drink 1.5-3 Liters a day
    2.If you can't go to the GYM because you're underaged, then just simply do a 30 min homeworkout 4-5 times a week.

  • @vtheory7531
    @vtheory7531 9 หลายเดือนก่อน +13

    Some good points here, just one thing though: be careful not to overemphasise on 'raising your metabolism' to lose fat. Metabolism in this sense is simply the amount of calories you burn in a day while not doing anything, i.e. your Basal Metabolic Rate (BMR). There are a few factors that lead to fast/slow metabolism including genetics, thyroid issues, age, etc., and having more muscle mass is certainly one way to increase metabolism. However, it's not as much as you think. 1lb of Fat burns 2 calories, while 1lb of muscle burns 6 calories. So if you lost let's say 10lb fat and gained 10lb of muscle (which is a LOT of muscle to gain in a short time) so you stayed the same weight, you will only be burning an extra 40 calories. Negligible in your overall daily calorie intake.
    I definitely recommend building muscle (e.g. through weight training) if you don't have a lot of it, because the metabolism increase is still real, and there are additional benefits like improving strength and bone density. However, the truth is if you want to see more noticeable fat loss, you will need to do more than weight training alone. Increase your overall daily movement through cardio (e.g. walking) and eat in a calorie deficit. Those all contribute towards an overall energy deficit which will be more effective in fat loss. In addition if you want to look more defined and not just thin, do weight training and eat enough protein so you can preserve your muscle during your deficit.

    • @vtheory7531
      @vtheory7531 9 หลายเดือนก่อน +2

      You can see this example in Zoe's transformation as well. She did not increase her maintenance calories through 'raising her metabolism' or weight training alone. She started out not doing any physical activity, so as she increased her activity, she increased her calorie out amount and that allowed her to lose fat. I believe that contributes more towards her success.
      Other than that it's her genetics, height, age, and the other training she's doing like weight training. And this does not take weeks, but years (she mentioned 2 years).

I have always wanted to be skinny like Zoe but I have always gained muscle really easily and plus with the layer of fat I have I look really bulky. But I'm slowly making changes to my diet, and try to ease into working out again.

    I am too young for the gym and it is forbidden at my age here and I can’t take protein supplements because my mom don’t want me to.. I try to lose weight since I am like 8 years old- so I am starting to get impatient and tired of this I am a teenager so I can’t really cook my own meal because I have this lack of skill and my mom make me eat what she do so..

Her video "How to start your fitness journey, lose fat, build muscle and feel great" is a really good one. And she also has actual workout videos you can check out. Careful though, it was so easy for me to end up binge watching her videos bc they are so fun and educational 🤣

Also i think Zoe’s audience has a lot of young ppl, so i dont want them to think they can get a body like Zoe’s if they just follow this advice. Because most ppl cant, and shouldnt. Yeah this is totally correct and great advice but not one person is the same. So i dont want them to start obsessing over this 😅 like i have - guiltyy🫢 Also key word ”everyone”!

So I chose, as a non sportive person to take care of myself. Ever tried hulahoop? You don't have to overwork yourself, just 20 minutes every day and your belly is fit 😎
