DaVinci Resolve 18: Tips for Beginners - Basic Color Grading Tips (Former Premiere User) Sony FX30

In this video I give some very simple tips to get a professional and cinematic look using a simple node structure in DaVinci Resolve 18. I recently made the switch from Premier Pro to DaVinci Resolve, and I am so happy I did. Resolve 18 has reignited my spark for editing and color grading videos!

Man, I love how clean that image looks! I don't know if I can fully switch to Davinci cause I've been loving my Premiere workflow. I'm aware with with the XML workflow but the FX30 has issues with its timecode so I can't do that workflow... Guess it's finally time to switch!

Honestly I thought the same, I’m a premier user as well, I forced myself to edit and color grade all my videos in DaVinci until I got the hang of it in 2023, and honestly I won’t be going back to premier. DaVinci once I got the hang of it just makes way more sense, and I was a baller on premier lol.
