ਸਾਡੀ ਅੱਜ ਦੀ Speaker ਰਮਨਦੀਪ ਕੌਰ ਮਰਖਾਈ ਦੀ ਕਹਾਣੀ ਵੀ ਕੁਝ ਅਜੇਹੀ ਹੀ ਹੈ ਜਿੰਦਗੀ ਉਨ੍ਹਾਂ ਦੀ ਬਚਪਨ ਤੋਂ ਹੀ ਪੋਲੀਓ ਹੋਣ ਕਰਕੇ ਉਨ੍ਹਾਂ ਦੇ ਪਰਵਾਰ ਵਿੱਚ ਗ਼ਰੀਬੀ ਰਹੀ ਤੇ ਸਕੂਲ ਚ ਪੜ੍ਹ ਰਹੀ ਰਮਨ ਦਾ ਵਿਆਹ ਇੱਕ ਨਸ਼ੇੜੀ ਨਾਲ ਕਰ ਦਿੱਤਾ ਗਿਆ ਉਥੇ ਜਾਕੇ ਉਨ੍ਹਾਂ ਨੇ ਹਮੇਸ਼ਾ ਤੰਗ ਰਹਿਣਾ ਕਦੇ ਬੱਚੇ ਨੂੰ ਸੰਭਾਲਣਾ ਤੇ ਕਦੇ Husband ਨੂੰ ਸੌਹਰਿਆਂ ਨੇ ਦਾਜ ਨੀ ਮੰਗ ਕਰਨੀ ਜਿਵੇ ਕਿਵੇਂ ਉਨ੍ਹਾਂ ਉਥੋਂ ਛੱਡਕੇ ਦੂਜੀ ਥਾਂ ਆਪਣਾ ਵਿਆਹ ਕਰਵਾ ਲਿਆ ਪਰ ਓਥੇ ਵੀ ਅਜਿਹਾ ਹੀ ਕੁਝ ਹੋਇਆ ਦੂਜਾ Husband ਵੀ ਨਸ਼ੇ ਕਰਦਾ ਤੇ ਉਥੇ ਇੱਕ ਕੁੜੀ ਹੋਈ, ਪਰ ਇੱਕ ਦਿਨ ਉਨ੍ਹਾਂ ਦੇ ਦੂਜੇ ਹਸਬੈਂਡ ਦੀ ਵੀ ਮੌਤ ਹੋ ਗਈ ਤੇ ਰਮਨ ਤੇ ਉਸੀ ਬੱਚੇ ਇਕੱਲੇ ਰਹਿ ਗਏ ਰਮਨ ਨੇ DMCT BSC DCA Fashion Designing ਕੀਤੀ ਹੋਈ ਸੀ ਤੇ ਉਸੇ ਦਿਨ ਰਮਨ ਫੈਸਲਾ ਲਿਆ ਕੇ ਜੋ ਕੁਝ ਉਨ੍ਹਾਂ ਨਾਲ ਹੋਇਆ ਉਹ ਕਿਸੇ ਹੋਰ ਨਾਲ ਨਹੀਂ ਹੋਣ ਦੇਣਗੇ ਤੇ ਉਨ੍ਹਾਂ ਨੇ ਪਿੰਡਾਂ ਦੇ ਵਿੱਚ ਨਸ਼ੇ ਦੇ ਖਿਲਾਫ ਪ੍ਰਚਾਰ ਕਰਨਾ ਸ਼ੁਰੂ ਕਰ ਕੀਤਾ।

The story of our today's speaker Ramandeep Kaur Markhai is also something like this. Her life was not so well since childhood due to polio. Raman was studying in school when her first marriage happened with a drug addict person. She Sometimes takes care of the child and sometimes the husband's in-laws do ask her for dowry, anyhow she lefts there and got married to another, but the same thing happened there. after the death of 2nd husband Raman and her children were left alone. Raman was done DMCT BSC DCA Fashion Designing and on that day Raman decided that whatever happened to her she will not let allow the same to anyone else and she started anti Drugs Campanighs in the villages.
