i also noticed this. i like it how her voice sounded more relaxed, soft, laid-back and casual when talking to Blade. gave me a sense that her trust for Blade runs pretty deep and that she feels safe with him around.
Kafka always struck me as the type to not show her vulnerabilities to just anyone, putting up that mischievous and flirty facade towards most. Of course, it's like that with anyone, putting up facades on how you want others to see you as. But only showing your more softer and more vulnerable sides to the ones you deeply trust. Like a feral cat exposing their belly for you.

Whether she genuinely care for us or not, that may really up to the plot later. If she thinks she'll change us both then she'll be the first to be genuinely feel Fear which came from that "Caring, longing, hoping or maybe going further as loving someone" to gain that emotion which she always wanted to feel.

I honestly prefer Kafka's Japanese dub, i don't think the English dub is bad don't get me wrong, it's just that it feels that her English VA is trying to force her voice to that seductive tone (which is the point of voice acting exists in the first place, forcing voices to fit the character) which, for me at least, makes her voice feel out of place or, like i said before, forced, as opposed to the Japanese dub which feels natural and still fits her character, being a master of manipulation and deception, with all that being said i realize that i might just nitpicking and talking out of my ass
Definitely sounds forced but she's alright compared to Jingliu's English VA, it sounds so forced that it was hurting my ears and I'm the type who prefers English dubs.
