I like the jumper. I’ll have to go to the junkyard to grab an injector harness for that same purpose. Saw another video but that guy used alligator clips to contact the injector terminals. I like your setup better!!!
Good presentation. Thanks! Just a small "heads-up" from me. Make sure that cable you made is LONG. No doubt there is an "arc" from when you touch the battery to the jumper to energize the injector. Gas fumes are nasty and if the conditions are right....BOOM! Be careful. Respectfully.
Excellent simple procedure for initial diagnosis. However you should reduce fire risk by keeping the sparking connection to the battery much further away from the fuel spray. Gasoline fires are seriously evil. Also I'd do it outdoors so as not to burn the house down in case you do set your car alight!
Those are two great suggestions and I will be doing both in the future. You could not be more right about that. Thanks for your comment and safety tips. :o ... Don't want any fires in the wrong places ...
Great video, man. I am going to do the injectors on a 2000 VW Golf, and I was or have had watched a lot of videos on that subject. And yours has attracted my attention. I going to use your method.
Due to the fact that all 6 injectors share the same fuel rail which is not leveled (back is lower than the front, from 6 to 1) and that any debris or sediments accumulated in the back injectors (5-6). Therefore, injectors 5 and 6 are easier to be clogged. For high mileage cars, it's also important to change the fuel filter in the back seat of the driver side.
I've ever seen the car on fire while cranking up with the fuel rail off with all injectors intact(for a test).the spark plugs with the fuel atomization could kill you anytime though they sprayed off the chambers.

sir if i have v12 engine . one side of the 6 cylinder have strong click sound from the fuel injector. and the other 6 have very low sound .. my injector stuck ? bad? plz help me tnx... btw its jag xjs 5.3 v12
Loud clicking sound coming from injectors does not usually mean it is stuck. If a fuel injector is stuck you will have a misfire on that cylinder. Injectors do get louder sometimes as they get old but the clicking is not usually an indication of one being stuck. If the "clicking" is a short and the injector is not getting a clear electrical signal, then you should still have a misfire and the injector may be fine once it gets a clear signal. Hope this helps.
@@Engineerboy100 tnx for reply . ok and if 6 cylnder i can hear click from injectors. and the other 6 cylnders the click sound is more weak. that means that they bad?
Yes, If cleaning them doesn't help, the short answer is replace them. By help we mean they should open and spray consistency, they should have a fine mist spray pattern and when closed, they should not leak.
The TurboFlo Oil Changer is 2 inches thick and about the size of a cell phone, it can literally fit in your pocket. Fuel injectors are not an item that should require regular service. You should be able to actuate the solenoid of most injectors with 9 volts, however, in the car they are using 12 volts.
Omg how did you just do that please show how you made that Conection please please please
