I just got one also but on both sides of the grips there seems to be a line going up from the logo to the top, it seems like the grips are cracked or something, does yours have anything similar? It's very visible in day light.

A long time ago my best man asked me to look at his father’s colt collection , omg Mark my eyes bugged out all custom peacemakers and 1911s .. I help him sell them through a local gun dealer since his deceased father left them to him .
I sold one 1911 to a USA 🇺🇸 veteran of Vietnam well the gun deal did , he was thrilled . Most had gold inlay are some sort of engraving. Just felt like sharing.
