I just got the fiftysix blue on blue strap yesterday!!!! Vacheron held it for me over the last month while I was too busy to get to the NYC location….. at first I was not sure as I put it on the leather was alittle stiff but not 15 min on the wrist and talking laughing with Harry the store rep…. I new I would Probly never take this off… the strap has melted to form my wrist in one day it’s is pure daily class!!!! Great video and great timeing !!!!
I really love your reviews on the pieces, as you own them yourself. It brings a genuine owner's experience to the discussions and the journey that you take with them. A special thanks on the Vacheron pieces, they're my favourite brand. Your info on the JLC based movement and bracelet on the blue dial are cool. Thanks again!
It’s a nice piece, I tried it on at the VC boutique NYC and I like it plenty but as a previous owner of the overseas 2nd Gen I feel this fifty six is good at its price point for some one looking at a slim elegant VC at more affordable watch. My advice is do not compare this to VC overseas they are totally different watches.
@@geno816 it’s is so crazy how it changes with the light.. I love it so much…I look at it all the time and forget what time it is!!! Lume pattern is awesome
Fifty Six collection felt more like something from JLC than VC. Probably the reason for its lack of popularity. I agree with others below that this watch is more comparable in finishing and design to something like a JLC Polaris or Master Control series, but at a significant premium for the VC name.
Fab video I bought the 56 blue dial as it looks looks fantastic on my 15.8cm size wrist and attract less unwanted attention than the other usual choices. Only criticism is the clasp on the leather strap feels a bit flimsy. When I last visited a VC boutique, the sales advisor fitted the bracelet and I agreed this bracelet is brilliant. It wears super comfortable and that easy link system is much cleverer than Rolex. I just hope I can get hold of an overseas silver dial! It looks fantastic! To me even better than the bluedialled OS
Great review. You have done what I sought out when looking for reviews of the Lange Odysseus: an owners review after several months on the wrist. Bravo. So pleased I discovered your channel. 👍🙏😊
Whoa I got my fiftysix complete calendar from the same AD as you! Noticed the background of the store haha. Love your videos man. Keep up the good work!
Gorgeous watch, love this video, I went for a Datejust Azzuro 41MM Jubilee instead due to WR and being better daily, would love to add this one day to the collection, absolutely stunning especially on bracelet.
You keep saying time only but it has a date complication, three hander date is a better description IMO . Great video I would love to own the VC patrimony in rose gold with black dial .
Love the review my Asian brother. Question on the overseas, does the overseas fit u well with the steel bracelet? I have a 17mm wrist and the first link on the bracelet has me a bit worried. I usually can’t wear something bigger than 42mm with a normal bracelet.
Love this watch. Once they become available at Msrp I’ll get it right away. The movement is amazing. The price point is great. Compare this at MSRP to a Rolex submariner.
I have a '60s Vacheron 6073 silver dial. Extremely rare factory fluted bezel and hand engraved. Watchmakers tell me it's worth $20-25k. I bought it 10 years ago for $4000
How is accuracy? I just watched your video and I absolutely loved it! I found your presentation to be incredibly informative and engaging. You did a great job of breaking down complex concepts into easy-to-understand terms. I also appreciated the humor and personal anecdotes that you sprinkled throughout the video. It made the content more relatable and enjoyable. You're one of the few TH-camrs who I can consistently count on to deliver high-quality content. Keep up the great work! Is this a better watch than 41 DJ ? No … is it water resistant no .. the only good thing about is Vacheron but beside that it’s worse than DJ in every regard so whatever
Thinner, sapphire display back, 22k gold rotor, but ultimately, a different watch in many aspects. If "better" is measured by functionality, a gshock 2100 is better than both.
Very nice piece for daily wear and thanks for the review. I just can’t get over the date location personally. It’s too centered which tells me movement is likely small for the case. A 26mm movement in a 40mm case seems mismatched imo….even at that price point.
A movement just needs to be big enough torque to drive the hands. The date wheel is perfectly placed to allow it to blend into the midline. Genius idea, very unique looking watch others will copy. Can’t wait for price to rocket.

Would you get the VC fifty six calendar if the prices were only a few thousand difference?

Hey! I've also been waiting for a 56 from the NYC boutique. Do you mind sharing how long you waited to be allocated a piece?

I had exactly the same experience with the strap

Its hard for me to call these a review - I much prefer just sharing thoughts as an owner!

It’s freakin gorgeous…. End of discussion! 😂
I'm happy someone reviewed this watch. I've thought about getting it. It looks good. And its so thin.
I just picked it up on leather so nice and the leather is really molding to my wrist.. love it
@@Weedandwatches ok. This is my next purchase. I have to do it.

How is it with scratching?

Watching this as I'm wearing mine... its like you knew!!
plus that MICRO adjustment on the bracelet is amazing. You're the first to mention it online
Was hoping that would be the case, haha
Great review and beautiful watch, but this is definitely not a “time only” model, it has a date complication 😇
You keep saying time only but it has a date complication, three hander date is a better description IMO . Great video
I would love to own the VC patrimony in rose gold with black dial .
I want that white strap for my overseas so bad. They told me I am on waiting list. 25th in line. LOL I wish I could get a aftermarket one.
Fantastic looking watch! Reminds me me of Longines...I really like the look of it though.
nice watch .. can a bracelet be fitted to the silver dial version?
Great watch and review! Whats the daily rate on it?

great shots man!
Thanks!
Great Video. Thanks. I love my blue 56 as well.
I love that it has the date
Super video...just would add if affordable is most appropriate word in this case.
Couch diver 😆. Great looking piece there.
We all are haha
Does anyone know if you can just walk into an AD and buy one of these?
Check the date at " 24 " . On mine , the 4 is riding on top of the 2 as it was too big to fit in the date window .
Do you have the same ?
Is there a waiting list for this?
Bought the silver dial on the leather as I prefer the silver dial. Can you buy the bracelet separately?
Yes…took a couple weeks to come in…makes a BIG difference.
wish I had to get it. I ended up selling my watch@@adampituch7739
Great content, I’m considering picking one up.
Dressy sports watches are the best.

What do you mean? I walked in today and walked out with this watch at the botique
as a fellow 56 owner, you made a excellent youtube !!! thoughts on how wet can it get
Wow new look. May I know is it the original strap?
Yup, every strap shown is OEM

it’s a VC and it’s COSC certified lol
Nice one - subscribed!
Thanks ! I like it!
I’m saving for one too
Your vids are superb!😍
Do you still have it?
The hands look very cheap like there no polishing. 10k i would definitely buy a grand seiko for sure.
Perfect watch only if they have smaller sizes...

$12K? Pass. For that money Grand Seiko all day long over this.
Vacheron; vash-uh-raw.
Constantin; kong-staw-tah
Hope this helps.

@@Timeonlywatch im also a fan of the date position in between the sector line. Also because it keeps a marker next to it
